청소년기 가출과정에서 겪은 성 경험에 관한 질적연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 여자 청소년이 청소년기 가출 과정에서 겪은 성 경험의 본질이 무엇인가에 대한 연구이다. van Manen의 해석학적 현상학 연구 방법을 적용하여 자료 수집 및 분석, 글쓰기를 진행하였고 13세∼19세 사이의 시기에 가출을 경험하고, 가출 과정에서 겪은 성 경험을 회상하여 진술할 수 있는 20세∼24세 사이의 여성을 참여자로 선정하였다. 연구 결과, 4개의 대주제와 14개의 하위주제가 도출되었고 대주제는 [동의한 것 같지만 동의한 적 없는 성관계가 이어지다], [성행위의 무력한 대상이 되다], [생존을 위한 발버둥의 대가로 고통받다], [아무도 믿을 수 없지만 여전히 누군가를 찾아 헤매다]로 범주화되었다. 가출 상황의 여자 청소년들은 의지할 곳이 없는 상황에서 상대의 성행동을 무력하게 수용하면서 상황적·심리적 압박에 의한 성행동을 동의한 것으로 받아들였다. 생계를 위해 택한 성매매로 신체적·심리적 고통을 겪었고 타인을 믿기 어려움에도 친밀한 관계를 맺기 위한 시도를 되풀이하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 성인 초기 여성의 회상에 근거해 가출 당시의 성 경험을 성찰하고 다각적으로 살펴봄으로써 성 경험으로 부적응 양상을 보이는 청소년의 상담 개입과 청소년의 욕구에 부합하는 성교육 마련을 위한 실질적인 기초자료를 제공하였다는 것에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study is a study on the Essence of the sexual experiences experienced by female teenagers during the process of runaway in adolescence. Data collection, analysis, and writing were conducted by applying van Manen’s hermeneutic phenomenology research method, and women between the ages of 20 and 24 who could experience runaway at the age of 13 and 19 and recall their sexual experiences during the runaway process were selected as participants. The study resulted in four major subjects and 14 subtopics. The major subjects were categorized as ‘Continue to have sex that seems to have agreed, but has never agreed’, ‘To be the helpless object of sexual activity’, ‘To suffer in return for struggle for survival’, and ‘No one can believe but still looks for someone’. Female teenagers in runaway situations accepted that they agreed to sexual behavior under situational and psychological pressure while helplessly accepting the other person’s sexual behavior in a situation where they had no place to rely on. It was found that he suffered physical and psychological pain from prostitution chosen for his livelihood and repeated his attempts to establish a close relationship even though it was difficult to trust others. This study is meaningful in that it provided practical basic data for counseling intervention of adolescents who show maladjustment to sexual experience and sex education that meets the needs of adolescents by reflecting on the sexual experiences of early adult women and examining them from multiple perspectives.
