작문 과정 측정을 위한 글쓰기 프로그램의 개발과 사용자 경험 분석

국문 초록

목적 이 연구에서는 작문 과정 측정을 위한 Python 기반의 글쓰기 프로그램을 개발하고 이 프로그램에 대한 고등학교 2학년 학생들의 사용자 경험을 분석하였다. 방법 글쓰기 프로그램은 프로그래밍 언어인 Python을 활용하여 2020년 9월 20일부터 10월 10일까지 개발하였다. 이 프로그램은 글쓰기 과정을 반영하여 ‘예비 연습, 쓰기 준비, 실제 작성’의 3단계로 이루어졌다. 이때 ‘쓰기 준비’와 ‘실제 작성’ 단계에서 생성된 글은 Keystroke log를 적용하여 글 작성 시간, 단위 문장 작성 시간, 전체 글자 수, 단위 글자 수와 함께 문장 단위로 자동으로 누적하여 저장되도록 하였다. 또한 개발된 글쓰기 프로그램에 대한 사용자 경험을 조사하기 위해 2020년 10월20일부터 12월 20일까지 경남 창원의 고등학생 23명을 대상으로 프로그램을 사용한 후 선택형 문항 5개와 개방형 서술 문항 3개에 응답하도록 하였다. 이때 선택형 문항은 프로그램에 대한 만족도, 쓰기 효능감, 컴퓨터 활용 효능감, 프로그램에 대한 기대감에 대한 항목으로 6점 척도로 측정하였으며, 개방형 문항은 프로그램의 코스, 프로그램의 장점과 보완점에 대한 항목으로 자유롭게 서술하도록 하였다. 결과 그 결과 글쓰기 프로그램에 대해 고등학생 사용자들은 프로그램에 대한 만족도와 기대감은 보통 이상으로 높았으며 프로그램에 대한 장점으로 쓰기 활동에 대한 편리와 유용성을, 프로그램에 대한 보완점으로 인터페이스의 강화, 쓰기 단계의 긴밀한 연계성, 정밀한 피드백의 강화 등을 제시하였다. 결론 Python 기반의 글쓰기 프로그램은 쓰기 인지 과정 측정을 위해 ‘예비 연습, 쓰기 준비, 실제 작성’ 단계의 쓰기 과정이 드러나도록 구성되었으며, Keystroke log를 적용하여 생성된 글은 문장 단위를 중심으로 작성 시간, 글자 수와 함께 자동으로 누적하여 저장되도록 하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study, a Python-based writing program was developed to measure the writing process and the user experience of the second year high school students was analyzed. Methods The writing program was developed from September 20, 2020 to October 10, 2020 using the programming language Python., This program was composed of three steps, ‘preliminary practice, preparation for writing, and actual writing’ reflecting the writing process., At this time, the writings generated in the steps of ‘writing preparation’ and ‘real writing’ were automatically accumulated and stored in sentences along with writing time, unit sentence writing time, total number of letters, and number of unit letters by applying Keystroke log. In addition, to investigate the user experience of the developed writing program, 23 high school students in Changwon, Gyeongnam were asked to use the program from October 20 to December 20, 2020, and then 5 selective questions and 3 open narrative questions were answered., The selection type questions were measured by 6-point scale as items about satisfaction with the program, writing efficacy, computer-utilized efficacy, and expectation for the program. The open type questions were freely described as items about the program course, the merits and supplements of the program. Results As a result, high school students satisfaction and expectation about the program were higher than normal, and the advantages of the program were convenience and usefulness of writing activities, enhancement of interface as a complementary point to the program, close connection of writing stage, and strengthening of precise feedback. Conclusions The Python-based writing program was developed to be able to write in the stage of ‘preliminary practice, preparation for writing, and actual writing’ to measure the writing cognitive process. The writing generated by applying the Keystroke log was automatically accumulated and stored along with the writing time and the number of letters centered on the sentence unit.
