유아교사가 인식하는 놀이에 대한 은유(metaphor) 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 메타포 분석을 통하여 유아교사의 놀이에 대한 인식을 살펴보는 데 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 경북 지역의 유아교사 100명을 대상으로 메타포를 분석하기 위해 질문지를 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 코딩과 제거단계, 분류와 범주화 단계, 신뢰도 평정하는 단계, 양적 자료 분석 단계 등으로 실시되었다. 결과 분석 결과, 유아교사가 인식하는 놀이에 대한 메타포는 놀이의 본질, 기능, 특성, 놀이틀, 놀이관련행동으로 구분할 수 있었으며, 놀이의 본질은 삶으로서의 놀이, 놀이의 기능은 창의성, 다양성, 가변성, 성장, 심리적 치유로서의 놀이, 놀이의 특성으로는 긍정적 정서, 비실제성, 내적동기, 과정지향, 자유선택으로서의 놀이, 놀이틀은 에피소드로서의 놀이, 놀이관련 행동은 탐색, 모방, 배움으로서의 놀이로 범주화되었다. 결론 이러한 연구결과는 개정 누리과정이 적용되고 있는 현 교육의 시점에서 유아교사들의 놀이신념과 가치를 이해하고, 긍정적으로 발전시키며, 전문적인 역량 함양을 지원할 수 있는 방향에 자료를 제시한 점에서 의의가 있다

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to Analysis on metaphor for play recognized by early childhood teachers. Methods For this purpose, metaphorical questionnaires for play we represented to early childhood teachers and a total of 100 data were collected. Data analysis was carried out in coding and elimination phase, classification and categorization phase, reliability rating phase, and quantitative data analysis phase. Results According to the analysis, early childhood teachers used 70 metaphors to describe on children s play. Metaphors were classified into 15categories. play was divided into five categories: ‘the essence of play’, ‘the function of play’, ‘the characteristic of play’, ‘play flame’ and ‘behavior related play’. ‘The essence of play’ was categorized as ‘the play of life’. ‘The function of play’ was categorized as ‘playing as creativity’, ‘playing as diversity’, ‘playing as self-expression’, ‘playing as a variety’, ‘playing as a growth’, and ‘playing as a cure’. As for ‘the nature of play’. ‘The characteristic of play’ was categorized as ‘playing as positive emotion’, ‘playing as fantasy’, ‘playing as inner motives’, and ‘playing as a free choice’. ‘The play flame’ was categorized as ‘playing as episode’. As for ‘behavior related play’, it was categorized as ‘playing as exploration’, ‘playing as imitation’, and ‘playing as learning’. Conclusions Based on the results of this study, it is worthwhile in that this study implicates the needs for early childhood teacher education not only to positively form their beliefs and values about play, but also to understand and cultivate their play and furthermore, this study provides basic materials for teacher education.
