초등학생의 내·외재적 학습동기 잠재프로파일에 따른 학습전략, 인성 차이분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등학생의 학습동기 프로파일의 잠재집단 유형을 파악하고, 학습전략과 인성의 차이를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국교육종단연구(KELS)의 ‘학교교육실태 및 수준분석 연구’의 4주기(2014년) 자료 중 초등학교 6학년 총 8,295명의 자료를 대상으로 상관분석, 잠재프로파일분석, 변량분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 6학년의 학습동기 잠재프로파일 결과 잠재집단은 ‘저동기형’, ‘자율동기형’, ‘타율동기형’, ‘평균동기형’의 4개의 집단유형으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 학습동기 잠재 프로파일 집단에 따른 학습전략에서 차이가 나타났다.‘자율동기형’은 통제전략, 끈기가 높았으나 암기전략이 가장 낮은 반면, ‘타율동기형’은 단순암기전략가 가장 높았다. 셋째, 학습동기 잠재프로파일에 따른 인성의 하위 요인별 차이가 나타났다. ‘자율동기형’이 모든 인성 하위요인에서 가장 높은 수준을 보였으나, ‘타율동기형’에서 가장 낮은 수준을 보였다. 본 연구의 결과는 초등학교 6학년의 학습동기 프로파일별 학습전략과 인성에 미치는 차별적 영향을 확인함으로써 학습동기 유형별 학습 전략 향상과 인성교육에 시사하는 바를 제공하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the latent profiles of intrinsic and external learning motivation for Elementary school students, as well as to analyze the differences in learning strategies and personality according to the types of the latent profile groups. For this purpose Correlation, Latent profile and multivariate, univariate analysis were conducted using data from 8,295 students who responded the survey in the 4th Period(2014) of the “Actual Condition and Level of School Education” by the KEDI. The results were as follows: First, the latent profile groups for the learning motivation of the elementary school students were classified into the four group types each with an low-motivated, autonomous, controlled and average motivation. Second, Second, there were differences in learning strategies according to the group of latent profiles of learning motivation. The autonomous motivation had the highest control strategy and persistence, the lowest memorization strategy, while the heteronomous motivations had the highest simple memorization strategy. Third, there were differences in character’s sub-factors according to latent profile groups of learning motivation. The autonomous motivation showed the highest level in all character’s sub-factors, but the lowest level in the heteronomous motivation . The results of this study provide implications for the improvement of learning strategies and character education by latent profile types of learning motivation for sixth graders in elementary school.
