중학교 협력종합예술활동에서의 영화 수업이 학생들의 핵심역량에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 2017년부터 서울시교육청이 실시한 중학교 협력종합예술활동에서의 영화 수업이 학생들의 핵심역량 함양에 미치는 효과성을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 협력종합예술활동은 연극, 영화, 뮤지컬 3개 예술장르를 현행 교육과정과 연계하여 교과 간 협력 운영, 특정 교과시간 내 운영, 창의적 체험활동으로 운영하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 영화 수업을 교과 간 협력 운영 방식으로 협력종합예술활동을 실시하고 있는 서울시내 4개 중학교의 199명 학생들을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 또한 우수 영화 수업 활동 보고서의 교사 관찰일지와 학생 성찰일지 분석을 통해 학생들의 핵심역량 함양 여부를 확인하였다. 이러한 양적·질적 분석 방법을 통해 확인한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성인뿐만 아니라 청소년 역시 영화수업을 통해 핵심역량 개발할 수 있었다. 둘째, 학생들은 영화 수업을 통해 2015 개정 교육과정에서 제시하고 있는 6가지 핵심역량을 함양할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 영화와 교과 연계 수업 활성화를 위한 다양한 교과 연계 프로그램 개발과 담당교사와 예술강사 간의 협력 수업을 위한 연수 제공 등이 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of film classes on the core competence of students in middle school cooperative integrated arts activities conducted by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education from 2017. The cooperative integrated arts activities linked three art genres of theater, film, and musicals to the current national curriculum standards. In addition, there are three methods of organizing and operating: operation between subjects, within specific curriculum hours, and creative experience activities. In this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 199 students in four middle schools in Seoul, where film classes were conducted as a cooperative interdisciplinary operation. In addition, through the analysis of the teacher observation log and the student reflection log in the excellent film class case report, the purpose of this study was to determine which film class activities affect the core competency of students. The research results confirmed through these quantitative and qualitative analysis methods are as follows. First, not only adults but also young students could develop core competencies through film classes. Second, students were able to cultivate the six core competencies suggested in the 2015 revised national curriculum through film classes. Based on the results of these studies, it is necessary to develop a variety of curriculum-related programs in order to revitalize film and curriculum-related classes in the future. In addition, it is necessary to provide training programs for collaborative classes between teachers and art instructors.
