국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학교육에서 스마트 교실 환경 변인이 대학생의 ‘멀티미디어 활용태도’와 ‘협력적 학습태도’에 미치는 영향을 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 부산광역시 소재 4년제 A 대학교의 스마트 교실 환경에서 2019학년 2학기에 개설된 교과목을 수강하고 있는 학부생 152명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. A 대학교의 스마트 교실 환경 변인은 (1) 이동이 가능한 그룹형 책상 및 의자 (2) 교실 전체 간 양방향 소통이 가능한 교수자-학습자, 학습자-학습자 컴퓨터 및 빔 프로젝터 (3) 소그룹 토론이 가능한 그룹형 컴퓨터 (4) 학습자 개인이 소지한 노트북, 모바일 폰, 태블릿 등으로 미러링 기능이 가능한 정보화 환경과 학습 공간 환경이 갖추어진 강의실 형태이다. 스마트 교실 환경 변인이 멀티미디어 활용태도와 협력적 학습태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 다중회귀분석(multiple regression)을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 밝혀진 주요 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스마트 교실 환경 변인인 정보화 환경과 학습 공간 환경 모두 대학생의 멀티미디어 활용태도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 스마트 교실 환경 변인인 학습 공간 환경은 협력적 학습태도에 유의미한 영향을 미치지만, 정보화 환경 변인은 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of smart class environmental variables on ‘multimedia utilization attitude’ and ‘cooperative learning attitude’ in higher education. For this purpose, this study surveyed 152 undergraduate students taking courses in the fall semester of 2019 in the smart classroom environment in a University A in Busan, Korea. The A university’s smart class environmental variables include (1) moveable table and chair for each groups, (2) computers for both professors and students as well as beam projectors, (3) group computers that enable two-way communication between classrooms, and (4) smart classrooms that can be mirrored with individuals laptops, phones and tablets. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to investigate the effects of smart class environment variables on multimedia utilization and cooperative learning attitudes. The major findings of this study are summarized as follows. First, both the information environment and the learning space environment, which are variables of smart classroom environment, have a significant effect on the multimedia utilization attitude of college students. Second, the learning space environment, which is a variable of the smart classroom environment, had a significant influence on the cooperative learning attitude, but the information environment variable did not have much effect.
