바깥놀이에 대한 유아교사의 인식과 요구

국문 초록

본 연구는 바깥놀이에 대한 유아교사의 인식을 조사하기 위하여 7명의 유아교사를 연구 참여자로 선정하여 2019년 7월 1-3주 동안 포토보이스 방법을 활용해서 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 참여자들은 ‘바깥놀이란 무엇인가’, ‘바깥놀이의 어려움은 무엇인가’, ‘바깥놀이의 어려움을 어떻게 해결할 수 있을까’라는 주제로 사진을 찍고 그 사진에 대하여 참여자들간에 설명하고 의미와 해석을 논의하는 공유의 시간을 가지면서 결과들을 도출하였다. 결과는 첫째, 바깥놀이란 ‘숨쉬는 시간’과 ‘진짜 자유놀이’이며, 둘째, 바깥놀이의 어려움은 ‘주도성보다 안전’ 그리고 ‘무관심의 반복’이고, 셋째, 바깥놀이의 어려움을 해결할 수 있는 방안은 ‘놀이로 연결된 시간’과 ‘다양성의 즐거움’으로 요약되었다. 결론적으로 유아교사들은 바깥놀이의 가치와 중요성을 이해하고 현장에서 활성화시키고자 하는 의지가 있으며, 포토보이스 방법론의 적용과정에서 적극적인 실행연구자의 역할을 수행하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the preschool teacher s recognition and demand about out-door play, The study was conducted on a photovoice method with seven preschool teachers as participants for 1-3 weeks in July 2019. Participants took pictures and interpreted the meaning of the topics What is Out-door Play, What is the difficulty of Out-door Play, and How can I solve the difficulties of Out-door Play . By explaining, interpreting and discussing photographic materials together, researchers and seven preschool teachers produced the following results : First, out-door play is breathing time and real free play . Second, the difficulties of out-door play are safety over initiative and repeating indifference . Third, the ways to solve the difficulties of out-door play are time connected by play and joy of diversity . In conclusion, preschool teachers were willing to understand the value and importance of outdoor play and activate it in the field. And they were active field researchers who used photovoice method.
