초·중학교 창의적 체험활동의 영역 개선 방향 탐색

국문 초록

창의적 체험활동은 2009 개정 교육과정에서 기존의 특별활동과 창의적 재량활동을 통합하여 신설된 교과외 활동으로, 자율활동, 동아리활동, 봉사활동, 진로활동으로 영역이 구성되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 초·중학교에 중점을 두고 창의적 체험활동의 4가지 영역의 편성 실태를 분석하고 그 개선 방향을 탐색하고자 2014년과 2019년에 교사 및 장학사를 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 창의적 체험활동의 4개 영역 중에서 1개 영역에 대한 시수 편성이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났으며, 2014년보다 2019년에 영역 간의 중복 문제가 심각한 것으로 나타났으나, 이에 대한 해결 방법으로는 국가 수준에서 개선보다는 학교 수준에서의 연계·통합의 장려에 더 높은 응답률이 도출되었다. 이상의 연구 결과를 종합하여 본 연구에서는 창의적 체험활동 영역의 개선 방향으로 2가지 안을 제시하는 한편, 창의적 체험활동의 영역 구분이 학년군 및 학교급의 특성을 반영해야 한다는 점 등을 후속 연구로 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Creative Experiential Activity is a new extracurricular activity that integrates existing special activities and creative discretionary activities in the 2009 revised curriculum. The four areas of Creative Experience Activities are Autonomous Activities, Club Activities, Service Activities, and Career Activities. In this study, a survey of teachers and scholars was conducted in 2014 and 2019 to explore the improvement direction of four areas of Creative Experiential Activity with a focus on elementary and middle school. As a result, first, among the four areas of the Creative Experiential Activity, one area was the most organized. Second, the duplication problem between sectors was more serious in 2019 than in 2014. Third, as a solution for this, higher response rates were derived from the encouragement of linkage and integration at the school level rather than improvement at the national level. In this study, two proposals were made to improve the Creative Experiential Activity. Subsequent research suggested that the division of the Creative Experiential Activity should reflect the characteristics of the grade group and school level.
