대학생의 학업적 의지전략과 학업지연행동의 관계에서 미래지향시간관의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 학업적 의지전략, 학업지연행동, 미래지향시간관의 관계를 알아보고, 학업적 의지전략과 학업지연행동의 관계에서 미래지향시간관이 매개효과를 가지는지 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 B시에 소재한 대학교의 356명(남학생 169명, 여학생 187명)을 대상으로 학업적 의지전략 척도, 학업지연행동 척도, 미래지향시간관 척도 검사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0을 사용하여 기술통계 및 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 미래지향시간관의 매개효과 검증을 위해 Baron과 Kenny가 제안한 절차에 따라 위계적 회귀분석과 Sobel test를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 학업적 의지전략과 학업지연행동 간의 관계와 미래지향시간관과 학업지연행동 간의 관계는 유의미한 부적 상관관계가 있었고, 학업적 의지전략과 미래지향시간관 간의 관계는 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 학업적 의지전략과 학업지연행동의 관계에서 미래지향시간관의 완전매개효과가 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 학업지연행동을 감소시키기 위해서 대학생의 학업적 의지전략 수준을 높이는 것뿐만 아니라 미래지향시간관을 향상시키는 것이 중요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediated effects of Future Time Perspective on the Relations between Academic Volitional Strategies and Academic Procrastination of University Students Data was 356 University Students(male 169, female 187) from University in Pusan city, South Korea. The measurements used for this study were Academic Volitional Strategies scale, the Academic Procrastination scale, and Future time perspective scale. The collected data were analyzed by pearson correlation analysis, mediation analysis of Baron and Kenny(1986), and sobel test by using SPSS 22.0 program. The results of this study were as follows. First, There was a negative relationship between Academic Volitional Strategies and Academic Procrastination. between Future Time Perspective and Academic Procrastination. But there was a positive relationship between Academic Volitional Strategies and Future Time Perspective. Second, the mediation analyses revealed that the relations between Academic Volitional Strategies and Academic Procrastination were totally mediated by Future Time Perspective. Therefore to decrease Academic Procrastination, it is needed to improvement Academic Volitional strategies and to promote Future Time Perspective. The implication and limitations based on these results were discussed with some suggestions for the future researchers.
