영아의 다양한 ‘관계’에 관한 연구동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 이제까지 발표된 영아의 다양한 ‘관계’에 관한 연구물들의 동향을 포괄적 체계적으로 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 다각도의 검색 및 판단 작업을 거쳐 1984년부터 2016년 말까지 국내 학술지에 발표된 305편의 논문을 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 영아 ‘관계’ 관련 연구는 연도별로 꾸준한 증가세를 보였으며, 다양한 학술지에 발표되고 있었다. 둘째, 주제에 있어서는 영아-부모 관계가 가장 많이 연구되었으며, 영아-교사, 영아-영아 관계의 연구가 증가하는 추세에 있었고, 하나의 논문에서는 하나의 관계에 집중하는 경향이 있었다. 셋째, 연구대상은 영아, 부모, 교사 순으로 많았으며, 단일대상보다 복합대상이 많은 특성이 있었다. 넷째, 연구방법에서는 전반적으로 양적연구가 우세하였으나 관계별로 다른 경향을 보였다. 이러한 결과에 기초하여 영아 ‘관계’ 연구의 지속적 증가 및 질적 향상, 다양한 관계 및 관계 간 관련성에 대한 탐색 강화, 관계 자체에 대한 심층적·양방향적 접근강화 등의 향후 연구 방향이 제시되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to conduct an inclusive and systematic analysis of research trends on infants’ various relationships. Through multidimensional search and decision processes, 305 journal articles published in Korea from 1984 to 2016 were selected for the analysis. The findings of this study were as follows. First, there was a steady increase in the number of articles over the years, and the articles were published in various journals. Second, in terms of research topics, infant-parent relationships were researched the most; studies focusing on infant-teacher or infant-infant relationships were gradually increasing; and there was a tendency to focus on a relationship in an article. Third, in terms of subjects/participants, infants were the most researched, followed by parent and teachers; and there were more multiple subject studies than single subject ones. Fourth, in terms of research methods, by and large, quantitative research methods were superior to other methods, but there existed different trends in research methods by the types of relationships. Based on these findings, some directions for future infant relationship studies were suggested such as the needs for continuous increase and qualitative improvement of the studies, for enhancing exploration of various relationships and associations of the relationships, and for an in-depth and two-way approach on the relationship itself.
