국문 초록

본 연구에서는 10개의 2격동사에 대한 코퍼스 자료에 근거하여 동사의 격변이 현상을 분석하였다. 분석결과 2격동사는 격변이 완료 그룹, 격변이 진행 그룹, 격변이 없는 그룹 등 3그룹으로 구분되었다. 격변이 완료 그룹에는 1개의 동사 begehren이 속하였고, 6개의 동사 achten, anklagen, beschuldigen, bezichtigen, brauchen, entbinden이 격변이 진행 그룹에 포함되었다. 3개의 동사 bedürfen, berauben, entbehren은 격변이 없이 2격을 안정적으로 유지하고 있었다. 코퍼스 분석결과 2격 목적어의 격변이 형태가 다양하다는 것이 확인되었다. 격변이 완료 그룹에 속한 동사 1개를 포함하여 총 7개의 동사가 격변이 되었거나 되고 있었고, 그 형태는 4격, 전치사구, zu-부정법으로 다양하게 나타났다. 격변이 형태의 생성 근거는 두 가지 관점에서 설명되었다. 하나는 동사가 갖는 2격의 의미와 관련이 있다는 설명이고, 다른 하나는 언어의 경제성과 명료성에 관련이 있다는 설명이다.

영문 초록

The analysis of the verbs with genitive is the topic of this paper. Nowadays the numbers of verbs with genitive are reducing. The object of this paper is to understand the change of case of verbs with genitive by analyzing the ten verbs achten, anklagen, bedürfen, begehren, berauben, beschuldigen, bezichtigen, brauchen, entbehren and entbinden. One result is that the verbs are divided in three groups: the group with verbs that already changed the case, the group with verbs whose change of case is still in progress and the group of verbs which don’t change the case. The verb begehren belongs to the first group. The verbs achten, anklagen, beschuldigen, bezichtigen, brauchen and entbinden belong to the second group. And the verbs bedürfen, berauben and entbehren belong to the third group. These three verbs didn’t change their case at all. Another result is that there are different types of change of case of the genitive objects. Accusative, prepositional phrase with auf, wegen, von, and zu-infinitive are types of change of case of the genitive objects. There are two reasons for the change of case: 1) The change of case depends on the meaning of the genitive objects of the verbs. 2) The change of case is a result of economy of language and the need for unambiguity of language.
