현실치료 프로그램이 외상 경험 아동의 정신건강 및 통제성에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 현실치료 프로그램을 적용하여 외상경험 아동의 정신건강과 통제성에 미치는 영향을알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 J시에 위치한 2개의 지역아동센터에서 참여를 희망한 12-13세 아동16명으로 하였으며, 실험집단과 통제집단에 각각 8명씩 무선배치 하였다. 프로그램은 회기당 70분씩 주1회, 총 12회기로 구성하였다. 자료는 실험집단과 통제집단의 사전-사후 점수 차이에 대한 t-검증으로통계 결과를 분석하였다. 그 결과 현실치료 프로그램은 외상경험 아동의 정신건강에 통계적으로 유의한차이(p<.05)가 있었다. 특히 9개의 하위영역 중 신체화, 강박증, 대인예민성, 우울, 적대감의 5개 영역에서 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 또한 내외부통제성에서는 유의수준 p<.001로 외부통제성을 감소시키는데 유의한 차이가 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of applying a reality therapy program on the mental health and controllability of children who have experienced trauma. The subjects of the study were 16 children aged 12-13 who wished to participate in two local children's centers located in J city, and 8 children each were randomly assigned to the experimental group and the control group. The group was convenience sampling divided into two groups with 8 chidrens in each: experimental and control group. experimental group and the control group. The program consisted of 12 sessions, one session per week of 70 minutes each. The data were analyzed by statistical analysis of the t-test of the difference between the pre-and post-test scores of the experimental group and the control group, As a result, there was a statistically significant difference (p<.05) in the mental health of children who had experienced trauma in the reality therapy program. In particular, it was found that there was a significant improvement in five of the nine subdomains: somatization, OCD, interpersonal acuity, depression, and hostility. In addition, there was a significant difference in reducing external controllability to a significance level of p<.001 in internal and external controllability.
