빅데이터를 통해 살펴본 유아 성교육에 관한 키워드 네트워크 분석 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 온라인 공간에서 수집 가능한 빅데이터로부터 유아 성교육과 관련한 핵심 키워드를 추출하고 분석하여 우리 사회가 지닌 유아 성교육에 관한 주요 이슈와 담론을 분석하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 Textom 플랫폼을 활용하여 2017년 7월부터 2022년 6월까지의 ‘유아 성교육’과 관련한 텍스트를 마이닝하고 1차, 2차에 걸쳐 정제하였다. 정제한 키워드의 빈도를 분석하여 상위 50위의 키워드를 활용하여 네트워크의 기본 속성과 각 키워드의 중심성을 분석하였다. 이후 Ucinet 6를 활용하여 네트워크 내 유형을 살펴보고자 하였다. 결과 키워드 빈도 분석 결과 ‘동화’, ‘아이’, ‘성’, ‘교육’, ‘책’, ‘부모’, ‘수’, ‘시작’, ‘엄마’, ‘유치원’ 순으로 높게 나타났다. 상위 50개 키워드 간의 네트워크 데이터 유의성을 검정한 결과 네트워크 데이터 간에 통계적으로 유의한 관계가 나왔으며 중심성을 분석한 결과 근접중심성과 매개중심성에서 상위 26개 키워드가 유사한 값을 가져 각 키워드가 서로 밀접하게 연결되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 네트워크 내 유형 분석 결과 ‘매체를 통해 이루어지는 유아 성교육’, ‘유아 성교육에 대한 가정 내 요구’, ‘유아 성교육에 대한 교육적 인식’, ‘강의를 통해 이루어지는 유아 성교육’, 그룹이 나타났다. 결론 본 연구결과를 통해 최근 5년간 우리나라에서 유아 성교육에 대한 인식과 사회적 맥락을 이해하고 발전방안에 대하여 논의하였다. 본 연구가 유아 성교육에 대한 사회적 이해를 바탕으로 다양한 성교육 프로그램을 개발하는 기초 자료로서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze major issues and discourses related to early childhood sex education in our society by extracting and analyzing key keywords related to early childhood education from big data that can be collected in online space. Methods Using the Textom platform, texts related to ‘childhood sex education’ from July 2017 to June 2022 were mined and refined in the first and second stages. By analyzing the frequency of refined keywords, the basic properties of the network and the centrality of each keyword were analyzed using the top 50 keywords. Afterwards, Ucinet 6 was used to examine the types within the network. Results As a result of frequency analysis, ‘storybook’, ‘child’, ‘sex’, ‘education’, ‘book’, ‘parent’, ‘number’, ‘start’, ‘mom’, and ‘kindergarten’ were the highest in order. As a result of testing the significance of the network data between the top 50 keywords, a statistically significant relationship was found between the network data, there was a statistically significant relationship between network data, and the analysis of centrality showed that the top 26 keywords had similar values in closeness and betweenness centrality, so each keyword was closely connected to each other. As a result of the type analysis within the network, ‘early childhood sex education through the media’, ‘family demand for early childhood sex education’, ‘educational awareness of early childhood sex education’, and ‘early childhood sex education through lecture’ appeared. Conclusions Through the results of this study, we discussed the development plan by understanding the perception and social context of early childhood sexual education in Korea for the last 5 years. This study is meaningful as basic data for developing various sex education programs based on social understanding of early childhood sex education.
