고등학교 3학년 학생의 부모와의 관계 인식이 자아존중감을 매개로 교우관계에 미치는 영향에 대한 구조적 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 고등학교 3학년 학생의 부모와의 관계 인식(긍정, 부정)이 교우관계에 미치는 영향과 두 변인 사이에서 자아존중감이 매개변인으로서 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 구조적으로 확인하기 위한 것이다. 방법 이를 위하여 본 연구는 경기교육종단연구를 활용하여 고등학교 3학년 5,092명의 데이터를 분석하였다. 연구는 이론적 배경에 따라 부분매개효과 모형을 설정 후 상관관계 분석 및 기술통계 분석, 확인적 요인분석, 구조모형 검증, 구조모형 효과 분해 순으로 진행하였다. 결과 첫째, 부모와의 관계 인식 중 긍정적 관계는 교우관계에 정적인 영향을 주었으나, 부정적 관계는 직접적인 영향을 주지 못했다. 둘째, 부모와의 관계 인식 중 긍정적 관계는 자아존중감에 정적인 영향을 주었고, 부정적 관계는 부적인 영향을 주었다. 또한 자아존중감은 교우관계에 정적인 영향을 주고 있었다. 셋째, 자아존중감은 부모와의 관계와 교우관계 사이에서 매개변인으로서 효과를 가지고 있었다. 결론 본 연구는 사회의 부모교육 프로그램 다양화 및 참여 유도 노력, 청소년의 자아존중감 향상을 위한 학교의 노력, 교육부 및 교육청의 자아존중감 향상을 위한 지침개선 및 프로그램 개발 보급 등을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to structurally confirm the effect of High School Seniors' perception of their relationship with their parents (positive or negative) on their friendship and how self-esteem as a mediating variable between the two variables. Methods To this end, this study analyzed the data of 5,092 high school seniors using the Gyeonggi Education Longitudinal Study. The study proceeded establishing a partial mediating effect model according to the theoretical background, correlation analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, structural model verification, and structural model effect decomposition. Results First, among the recognition of relationships with parents, positive relationships had a positive effect on friendships, but negative relationships had no direct effect. Second, among the recognition of relationships with parents, positive relationships had a positive effect on self-esteem, and negative relationships had a negative effect. Also, self-esteem had a positive effect on peer relationships. Third, self-esteem had an effect as a mediator between the relationship with parents and friendship. Conclusions This study suggested efforts to diversify and induce participation in parent education programs in society, school efforts to improve adolescents' self-esteem, and the Ministry of Education and Offices of Education to improve guidelines and develop and disseminate programs to improve self-esteem.
