중⋅고등학교 태블릿 PC와 랩톱 PC 활용 교육에 대한 효과성 인식 조사

국문 초록

목적 이 연구는 코로나19로 인한 학습 패러다임의 전환에 따라 스마트기기의 활용 실태와 환경 개선점, 교육적 효과성, 교육적 활용도에 대한 상대적 적합성 등을 조사 분석하는 데에 목적을 두고 있다. 방법 중등교원 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 151부를 회수하고 기술통계, t-검정, AHP기법으로 통계분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 중등교원이 보유한 스마트기기는 태블릿 PC와 랩톱 PC 두 기종이며, 대면수업 및 온⋅오프라인 연계수업 운영과 교사 업무 수행 시에 스마트기기가 많이 필요하다고 응답하였다. 이를 위해 학생 및 교원 1인 1기기 확보(지원)와 고속 무선 네트워크 인프라 구축, 다양한 교육용 앱과 양질의 콘텐츠, 학생 기기를 통제 및 관리 기능(SW) 제공 등의 개선점을 높게 요구하였다. 둘째, 스마트기기 활용의 교육적 효과성은 학습동기 및 만족도(M=4.25), 사고력(M=4.18)과 학습능력(M=4.12)순으로 높았고, 학교 급간에 통계적 유의한 차이가 없이 4점대로 긍정적 인식을 보였다. 셋째, 스마트기기의 교육적 활용도는 스마트학습이 장기화되면서 학생참여형 중심의 교수⋅학습활동과 과정중심평가활동에서 빈도와 시수, 난이도가 증가하고 교원 수업 관련 업무용으로도 활용할 수 있는 랩톱 PC를 태블릿 PC보다 적합하다고 평가하였다. 결론 포스트코로나 시대에 중등학교에 보급형 스마트기기의 도입 방안 마련, 스마트기기에 대한 사용자 연수와 교과 및 비교과의 활용 사례 중심의 연수 운영, 중등 예비교원 양성과정에 스마트기기 활용 교육과정과 활용 교육이 강화되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study is aimed at investing and analyzing the actual use of smart device, environmental improvement points, educational effectiveness, and relative suitability for educational use, according to the paradigm shift of distance learning and smart learning due to COVID-19. Methods This research is for secondary school teachers, and 151 copies were received and analyzed. Statistical analysis calculated descriptive statistics, t-test, and AHP techniques. The conclusion is as follows. Results First, secondary school teachers have two types, tablet PC and laptop PC, and they answered that they need a lot of smart devices to implement face-to-face classes, online/offline-linked classes and teachers’ work. To this end, they highly demanded improvements such as securing (supporting) one device per student and faculty, building high-speed wireless network infrastructure, providing various educational Apps and high-quality content, and controlling and managing students’ devices (SW). Second, the educational effectiveness of using smart devices was highest in learning motivation and satisfaction (M=4.25), followed by thinking ability (M=4.18) and learning ability (M=4.12). With an average of 4 points, there was no statistically significant difference between school levels, showing a positive perception. Third, with regard to educational utilization of smart devices, as smart learning prolongs, and as the frequency, number of hours, and difficulty increase in student participatory teaching/learning and process-oriented evaluation activities, it was evaluated that a laptop PC that can be used for teachers’ class-related work is more suitable than a tablet PC. Conclusions In the post-Covid-19 era, it is necessary to prepare a plan to introduce low-end smart devices to secondary schools, and smart device usage training course and relevant education should be strengthened in smart device user training, operation of training centered on utilization cases of co-curriculum, and training for secondary school pre-service teachers.
