중국 안지놀이 유치원 교사의 놀이중심교육 실천 사례 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 중국 안지놀이 유치원 교사의 놀이중심교육 실천역량이 현장에서 어떻게 구현되는지를 살펴보는 것이다. 방법 이를 위해 2022년 3월 14일부터 2022년 4월 2일까지 약 3주 동안 참여관찰, 심층면담, 문헌자료 분석 중심으로 중국 저장성(浙江省) 후저우시(湖州市) 안지현(安吉县)에 있는 K유치원 사례 연구를 수행하였다. 결과 안지놀이 K유치원 교사 놀이중심교육 실천의 의미를 ‘진짜놀이 지원을 위해 부단히 노력하는 교사’, ‘유아에 대한 믿음, 놀이중심교육의 핵심’, ‘유아의 탐구활동, 놀이 확장을 위한 나침반’, ‘오래가기 위해 함께 가기’ 4가지 범주로 나누고 그 각각을 다시 하위범주로 나누어 유목화하여 제시하였다. 구체적으로 살펴보면 첫째, K유치원 교사는 처음부터 유아의 놀이권리를 인정하고 놀이중심교육 실천역량이 높았던 것은 아니라, 놀이중심교육을 실천하는 지금의 모습으로 바뀌기까지는 오랜 시간과 수많은 시행착오가 있다. 둘째, K유치원 교사는 교실의 주인공이 유아라는 믿고, 유아가 교사의 생각보다 훨씬 더 잘한다는 믿고, 모험과 도전 속에서도 스스로 안전을 지킨다는 믿고, 모든 유아에게 내재된 나름의 속도가 있다는 믿고 있다. 셋째, K유치원 교사는 유아에게 관찰하고 기록하는 힘과 대그룹 공유를 통해 발표하는 힘이 키우고 있다. 넷째, K유치원 각 반의 청소와 밥 준비 등을 분담하는 보육원(保育员) 한 분이 있고, 안지놀이 교육과정의 이념을 학부모들이 잘 이해할 수 있도록 다양한 방법으로 전달하고 있으며, 안지놀이 창시자 청쉐친(程学琴)이 유치원 리더로서 끊임없이 교육에 필요한 재정지원을 정부에 요청하며 어려움을 극복하고 현재의 놀이중심교육 체계에 도달하였다. 결론 첫째, 중국 안지놀이 유치원 교사의 높은 놀이중심교육 실천역량은 단기간에 이룬 것이 아니라 수심여 년의 노력을 통해 실현하는 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, 중국 안지놀이 유치원 교사는 충분히 유아를 믿고 있음을 확인하였다. 셋째, 안지놀이 유치원 교사는 유아 놀이를 확대하고 매일 유아 자신의 경험을 되돌아볼 수 있는 기회가 충분히 있음을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examines the process by which the recognition of children's right to play, which explains the practical competency of play-centered education of Chinese Anji kindergarten teachers in a meaningful way, is formed and how it is implemented in the field of play-center education. Methods To this end, for about three weeks from March 14, 2022, to April 2, 2022, a study was conducted in Anji County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, focusing on participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and literature data analysis. A case study was conducted at K Kindergarten. Results The meaning of play-center education practice for teachers at Anji K Kindergarten was defined as an ‘a teacher who constantly strives to support real play’, ‘belief in children, the core of play-center education’, ‘a compass for expanding children's exploration activities and play’, ‘going together for a long time’ was divided into 4 categories, and each of them was further divided into subcategories and presented as nomads. Specifically, first, teachers did not recognize children's right to play from the beginning and had a high competency in practicing play-centered education at K kindergarten. Second, K kindergarten teachers believe that the main character of the classroom is an infant, which is much better than the teacher thinks. They keep themselves safe in the midst of adventure and challenge and believe that all children have their own inherent speed in them. Third, teachers of K kindergarten are developing the children’ power to observe, record and through large group sharing. Fourth, one nursery school (保育员) who is in charge of cleaning and preparing meals for each class of K Kindergarten. As a kindergarten leader, constantly requested financial support necessary for education from the government and overcame difficulties to reach the current play-centered education system. Conclusions First, it was confirmed that the high level of play-center education practice competency of Chinese Anji kindergarten teachers was not achieved in a short period of time, but through many years of effort. Second, it was confirmed that Anji kindergarten teachers in China fully believed in children. Third, it was confirmed that Anji kindergarten teachers had enough opportunities to expand children's play and reflect on their experiences daily.
