대학 비교과 교육과정 운영 사례 분석 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 패션산업에서의 4차 산업혁명 대응 기술 혁신을 위한 학계 및 산업계의 인식 확산 및 관련 비교과 교육과정 운영 사례를 분석하고 교육과정 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제시하는 데 연구의 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 2018년부터 2021년까지 4년 동안 수행된 동아대학교 스마트테크패션전문인력양성 교육과정 개발 및 운영 사례를 분석하였다. 4년간 98명의 교육 수료생을 대상으로 강의평가를 실시하였으며, 교육과정에 대한 산업계 인식조사를 위해 부산 패션 관련 60개 업체를 대상으로 설문조사 하였다. 결과 스마트 디자인, 빅데이터, 3D 프린팅, 웨어러블 스마트, 가상피팅, ICT, 인공지능을 키워드로 스마트테크IT융합 패션전문인력양성교육과정을 설계하였으며, 교육 수료생을 대상으로 한 강의평가 결과 코로나 전 평균 4.8, 코로나 이후 평균 4.35로 전반적으로 높은 만족도를 보여주었다. 교육과정에 대한 패션산업계 인식조사 결과 빅데이터의 중요성 및 실무적 필요성을 보여줬으며, 4차 산업 기술 관련 인식 확산 및 직무능력 향상을 위한 관련 교육의 필요성은 인지하고 있으나 기술 진입 부담감 역시 확인할 수 있었다. 결론 산업계에서 인식하고 있는 4차 산업 기술의 중요성 및 관련 인재의 필요성에 비해 지역에서 주관하고 있는 교육, 인재 양성은 많이 부족한 것으로, 변화하는 기술 트렌드에 대학 정규 교육과정에서 빠르게 적용하기 어려운 융합 교육 콘텐츠를 중심으로 비교과 교육과정을 개발, 운영함으로써 산업적 요구에 대응할 수 있었다. 교육 효과의 극대화를 위해서는 교육생들의 취업 이후 4차 산업 관련 기술을 적극적으로 활용할 수 있는 기업 인프라 또한 중요하게 작용하는 바, 전반적인 지역기업의 열악한 근무 환경은 지역인재 유출로 이어질 수 있는 것으로 판단되었다. 최근 메타버스의 부상과 함께 디지털 패션을 중심으로 한 패션산업 혁신이 가속화되는 가운데, 학계와 산업계, 지방자치단체의 긴밀한 공조에 기반한 장기적 관점의 재직자 연계 교육과정 개발 및 운영이 요구되는 바이다.

영문 초록

Objectives The objectives of this study are to spread awareness in the academia and the industry regarding technological innovation needed to respond to the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the fashion industry and to suggest a direction for developing a related extracurricular curriculum. Methods To that end, this study analyzed the curriculum development and implementation case for the smart tech fashion professional training course at Dong-A University, which was run for four years from 2018 to 2021. A course evaluation was performed by 98 course graduates during the four years, and a survey was performed at 60 fashion companies based in Busan to evaluate the industry’s awareness. Results The smart tech IT convergence fashion professional training course was designed with such keywords as smart design, big data, 3D printing, wearable smart devices, virtual fitting, ICT, and AI. The average score of the course evaluation by course graduates was 4.8 out of 5 before the COVID-19 outbreak, and 4.35 after the pandemic began. Both scores indicated high overall satisfaction. The survey performed to evaluate the fashion industry’s awareness regarding fashion curricula showed the importance of big data and the need for practical skills. The fashion industry was aware of the need for training that can spread awareness about fourth industrial technologies and improve job performance. However, they found it burdensome to enter the technological field. Conclusions Given the importance of the fourth industrial technology recognized by the industry and the need for relevant personnel, there were insufficient training and personnel nurturing in Busan. Accordingly, we developed and implemented an extracurricular curriculum focused on convergence education content, which is difficult to apply quickly to a regular curriculum at a university, amid the fast-changing technological trend. In that way, we responded to industrial demands. In maximizing the effectiveness of training, the corporate infrastructure is important as it allows course graduates to actively use relevant fourth industrial technologies after gaining employment. Therefore, overall poor working conditions can lead to the outflow of local manpower. As metaverses emerge and the innovation of the fashion industry accelerates in digital fashion, it is necessary to develop and administer training courses participated by field personnel, based on the close cooperation between the academia, the fashion industry, and the local government from a long-term perspective.
