국문 초록

본고는 <박성실씨의 사차산업혁명>(2021), 웹드라마 <인공지능 그녀>(2020), <간호중>(2020) 등의 텔레비전 드라마에서 인공지능에 대한 불안감이 어떻게 재현되고 있는지 그 의미를 분석한다. <박성실씨의 사차산업혁명>에서기술의 진짜 위험은 진보의 이름 하에 존재자들을 동종화하여 노예화함으로써 인간성의 존재에 가하는 위험에서연원한다. 박성실과 그의 동료들의 개인적 특성에 기반한 상담기법이 AI에게 흡수되는 것은 주제적 의미를 지닌다. 이 장면은 인간들이 처분가능한 일회용품으로 ‘내몰리는 지경’, 그래서 자신의 은폐되었던 존재를 드러낼 자유와기회를 잃을 위험성을 암시한다. 이것이 인공지능이라는 현대적 기술이 야기하는 근원적 불안이다. <인공지능 그녀>는 개인적 몸의 차원에서 인공지능 기술의 몰아세우기에 의해 하나의 처분가능한 일회용 상품으로 전락하는 인간의 상황을 그린다. 정신과 몸의 분리를 야기하는 기술은 수단이나 방법으로 전락한 근대적 의미의 기술로서 하이데거 식으로 보자면 존재가 출현할 기회를 막고, 존재자들의 해방을 저해한다. <인공지능 그녀>에서 재현되고있는 기술 불안은 정신과 몸의 분리로부터 파생돼 주체와 객체로 존재자들을 구분하여 그것들을 형이상학적 이분법으로 폭력적으로 환원하는 데서 비롯된다. <간호중>에서는 인간과 기계에 배속되었던 표준화된 문화적 이미지의자의성이 폭로된다. 인간과 기계라는 기표들에 부여된 주체와 대상이라는 형이상학적 이분법의 관습적 기반을 흔들면서, 존재에 대한 개방성과 해방적 변형을 간호중의 마지막 외침은 보여주고 있다. 물론 이 장면은 인간이 기계를 지배할 수 있다는 의지를 던져버리기에 인간에게 기술 불안을 자아낸다. 그러나 앞선 드라마들과는 달리, 여기서의 불안은 인간을 위한 시적 촉매제인 테크네로서의 기술이 끌어내는 불안인 바, 인간의 존재론적 변형을 위한불안이라 할 수 있다. 그래서 기술은 인간에게 위협적인 것이기도 하면서 구원의 힘을 지닌 것이 된다. <간호중>결말 부분의 기술 불안은 기술에 내재한 위험과 구원의 힘을 동시에 지각케 한다.

영문 초록

Anxiety about artificial intelligence in TV dramas such as (tvN, 2021), the web drama (New Plus Original, 2020), and (MBC, 2020) Analyze how it is being reproduced and its meaning. In , the real danger of technology stems from the danger it poses tothe existence of humanity by homogenizing and enslaving entities in the name of progress. Theabsorption of counseling techniques based on the personal characteristics of Park Sung-sil andhis colleagues by AI has thematic significance. This scene hints at the danger that humans willbe ‘driven’ to disposable disposables and thus lose the freedom and opportunity to reveal theirconcealed existence. This is the fundamental anxiety caused by the modern technology of artificialintelligence. depicts the situation of a human being degenerated into adisposable disposable product due to the driving of artificial intelligence technology at the levelof the individual body. Technology that causes the separation of mind and body is a technologyin the modern sense that has been reduced to a means or method, and in Heidegger’s view, itblocks the opportunity for beings to appear and hinders the liberation of beings. The technologicalanxiety reproduced in is derived from the separation of mind andbody, and comes from dividing beings into subjects and objects, and violently reducing them tothe metaphysical dichotomy. In , the arbitrariness of the standardized cultural imageassigned to humans and machines is exposed. Shaking the conventional basis of the metaphysicaldichotomy of subject and object given to the signifiers of man and machine, Nursing s last cry showsopenness to existence and liberating transformation. Of course, this scene creates technological anxietyin humans because it throws away the will that humans can dominate machines. However, unlikethe previous dramas, the anxiety here is the anxiety elicited by technology as techne, a poetic catalystfor humans, and can be said to be anxiety for human ontological transformation. So, whiletechnology is a threat to humans, it also has the power to save. Technological anxiety at the endof makes us perceive both the danger and the power of salvation inherent in technology.
