국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 다문화 상담 연구와 관련하여 2000년부터 2020년까지 국내 학술지에 게재된 논문을 살펴보고 연구 동향을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 논문 총 265편을 선정하여 연구의 연도별 발표추세, 연구대상, 연구주제, 연구방법에 따라 분류하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화 상담 연구는 전반적으로 증가하는추세를 보이고 있다. 둘째, 다문화 가정의 자녀들을 대상으로 한 연구가 26%로 가장 높은 비중을 차지하였고, 다음으로 한국인의 다문화 인식 및 다문화 상담자의 특성과 같이 한국인을 대상으로 한 연구가 23.8%에 해당하였다. 셋째, 다문화 상담 연구의 주제로는 성격 특성 및 적응 연구 35.1%, 사례 연구 15.5%, 상담자 연구 14.3%순으로 게재 빈도가 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 연구 방법에서 질적 연구 49.1%, 양적 연구 44.2%에 해당하였으며, 질적 연구와 양적 연구가 혼합된 연구방법은 6.8%의 빈도를 나타냈다. 본 연구는 현재까지 국내에서 진행된 다문화상담 관련 연구의 현황을 파악하고, 향후 다문화 상담 연구를 위한 기초자료의 축적과 정보 제공에 의의를 지니고있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate research trends by examining articles publishedin Korean journals from 2000 to 2020 in relation to multi-cultural counseling research. A total of265 articles were selected and classified according to yearly publication trend, research object,research topic, and research method. The analysis results are as follows. First, research on multicultural counseling is showing an overall increasing trend. Second, studies on children from multi-cultural families accounted for the highest proportion at 26%, followed by studies on Korean,such as Koreans perception of multiculturalism and characteristics of multi-cultural counselors, at23.8%. Third, as the topic of multi-cultural counseling research, the frequency of publication washigh in the order of personality characteristics and adaptation research 35.1%, case study 15.5%,and counselor research 14.3%. Fourth, in the research method, 49.1% of qualitative research and44.2% of quantitative research corresponded. The mixed reach was 6.8%. This study has significancein understanding the current status of multi-cultural counseling-related research conducted in Korea,and in accumulating basic data and providing information for multi-cultural counseling research.
