영아 그림책의 기호학적 분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 기호학을 중심으로 영아 그림책 사과가 쿵 의 텍스트의 형식, 텍스트의 표현, 텍스트의 내용을분석해봄으로써 어떠한 의미가 내포되어 있는지 알아보았다. 분석 결과에 따른 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 텍스트의 형식은 단선적 구조를 이루며 함께 나눈다는 것이 즐거운 일이라고 말한다. 특히 전개 부분에서는 하나의 에피소드가 사건이고 결과인 비 연결 구조를 이루며 내용이 누적되는 형식을 취한다. 둘째, 텍스트의 표현은 의성어와의태어로 나타낸다. 이야기에 등장하는 동물과 대상 그리고 행위를 소리와 동작으로 알린다. 영아는 소리를 듣고그 소리를 나타내는 내용을 파악하게 된다. 셋째, 텍스트의 내용은 커다란 사과를 중심으로 ‘크다’와 ‘작다’, ‘많다’와 ‘적다’, ‘함께 한다’와 ‘혼자 한다’, ‘나누다’와 ‘합치다’, ‘강자’와 ‘약자’에 대한 의미를 범주화시킨다. 이를 통해나눔의 즐거움은 혼자가 아닌, 함께 하는 것이라는 신화를 전한다. 영아에게 그림책은 읽는 문학이자, 듣는 문학이다. 그러므로 읽어주는 독자는 단순히 가시적으로 드러난 표현만이 아닌 의미의 관계성에 대해서 좀 더 심도 있게 접근할 필요성이 있다.

영문 초록

In this study, we looked at the implications of analyzing the format, expression, and contentof the infant-toddlers picture book text “Apple Kung ” around semiotics. The conclusions of theanalysis results are as follows: it is said that the form of the text forms a single-line structureand it is pleasant to share it together. In particular, in the development part, one episode is anevent and a result, which is a non-connected structure, and the contents are accumulated. Second, the expression of the text is expressed in onomatopoeia and mimetic word. It informsthe animals, subjects, and situations in the story with sounds and movements. Infants hearsounds and understand what they represent. Third, the contents of the text, which are large andsmall, many and few, are joined together and divided, categorizes the meaning of the strong andthe weak. For Infant-toddlers, picture books are literature that reads and listens to. therefore, thereader needs to take a more in-depth approach to the relationship of meaning, not just a visibleexpression.
