국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 Hirst의 교육이론에 근거한 통합교육과정의 방향을 탐색하는 것이다. 방법 이를 위하여 Hirst의 교육이론이 통합교육과정의 설계와 구성에 어떠한 시사점을 주는지 이론적으로 탐구를 하였다. 결과 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, Hirst의 사회적 실제에 근거하는 교육과정은 이론적 지식 뿐만 아니라 실제적 지식도 강조할 것이다. 둘째, 사회적 실제를 통한 통합교육과정의 교육내용은 학생을 좋은 삶으로 인도하는 내용으로 구성되도록 할 것이다. 셋째, 사회적 실제를 통한 통합교육과정의 교육방법은 다양한 사회적 활동 속에서 광범위한 학습 경험을 제공할 것이다. 넷째, 사회적 실제를 통한 통합교육과정의 평가는 이론을 실제에 적용하며, 동시에 실제를 통해 이론의 심화 및 내면화 정도를 확인하는 평가가 될 것이다. 결론 Hirst의 사회적 실제에 근거하는 교육과정은 진일보 발전한 통합교육을 실현할 것이다. 사회적 실제가 인간의 좋은 삶을 실현하도록 하는 데 있다면, 인간의 인지적 측면만을 교육하는 것이 아니라 정의적이고 행동적인 측면까지 균형적인 교육이 필요하기 때문이다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to explore the development direction of the integrated curriculum based on Hirst’s educational theory. Methods For the purpose of this study, it was theoretically explored what implications Hirst s educational theory has on the design and composition of the integrated curriculum. Results The results are as follows. First, the integrated curriculum based on Hirst s social reality will emphasize practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge. Second, the educational contents of the integrated curriculum through social reality will be composed of contents that lead students to a good life. Third, the educational method of the integrated curriculum through social reality will provide a wide range of learning experiences in various social activities. Fourth, the evaluation of the integrated curriculum through social reality will be an evaluation that applies the theory to practice and at the same time confirms the degree of deepening and internalization of the theory through practice. Conclusions The curriculum based on Hirst s social reality will realize an advanced integrated education. This is because, if social reality is to realize a good life for human beings, a balanced education is needed not only in the cognitive aspects of humans but also in the positive and behavioral aspects.
