사립유치원 고경력 교사의 전문성 성장에 대한

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 사립유치원 고경력 유아교사의 생애과정을 연구하여 유아교사가 전문성을 성장시키는 과정은 어떠한지 알아보고 그 의미를 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 사립유치원에서 12년 동안 교사 생활을 한 후 퇴직한 교사를 대상으로 2020년 11월~2021년 2월 다섯 차례에 걸쳐 심층면담을 실시하였으며, 통화 및 실시간 화상 대화를 통해 추가적인 자료를 수집하고, 연구참여자의 저널과 교육계획안을 분석하였다. 결과 연구 결과, 연구참여자는 사립유치원 교사 초년 시기, 내외적 동기에 의한 고된 훈련을 통해 전문성을 형성하기 시작하였다. 또한 경력이 증가하는 과정에서 유아교사의 전문성은 경력에 비례하여 단편적으로 성장하는 것이 아니라 연구참여자가 처한 환경 및 경험하는 상황과 상호작용하여 다양한 곡선을 그리며 성장하였다. 끝으로 사립유치원 고경력 교사에게 전문성 성장이라는 것은 끊임없이 이루어지는 것이며, 교사의 인성을 갈고 닦는 과정이자 연구하는 태도, 반성적 성찰의 과정으로서 의미가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 결론 이러한 연구 결과는 유아교사의 교육 경력이 늘어감에 따라 전문성을 성장시키는 과정에 대한 실제를 이해하는 데 도움을 주었을 뿐 아니라 유아교육 현장에서 유아교사가 전문성을 성장시키기 위해 어떠한 노력과 성찰을 해야 하는지에 대한 기반을 마련해 주었다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to study the life course of high-career early childhood teacher at a private kindergarten to find out what the process of growing professionalism is like and explore its meaning. Methods For this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted on teachers who retired after 12 years of teacher life in private kindergartens five times from November 2020 to February 21, and additional data were collected through telephone and real-time video conversations, and journals and educational plans of research participants were analyzed. Results As a result of study, participants began to form their expertise through hard training by internal and external motivations during the early years of private kindergarten teachers. In addition, in the process of increasing career, the expertise of early childhood teachers did not grow piecemeal in proportion to career, but rather grew in various curves by interacting with the environment and situation experienced by research participants. Finally, for a high-career teacher at a private kindergarten, professional growth is constantly process, and it can be seen that it is meaningful as a process of refining the personality of the teacher, an attitude of research, and a process of reflective reflection. Conclusions The results of these studies not only helped to understand the reality of the process of developing professionalism as the education career of early childhood teachers increases, but also what efforts and reflections must be made for early childhood teachers to grow their professionalism in the field of early childhood education. It laid the foundation for knowledge.
