딕토컴프(Dicto-Comp)를 활용한 한국어 듣기 쓰기 담화통합 사례 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 중국인 유학생 중 한국어 능력 시험 5급(4명)을 대상으로 한국어능력시험 듣기와 쓰기 점수 간의 상대적인 차이를 기준으로 딕토컴프 활동을 적용한다. 질적연구 방법 중 사례연구를 통해 담화통합 양상을 분석하여 교수 전략을 도출하는데 시사점을 얻고자 한다.방법 자료 수집을 위해 의도적 표본 추출 전략 방법 중 하나인 최대편차 사례를 선택하여 참여자를의 듣기와 쓰기 점수를 최고치와 최저치를 기준으로 A,B,C,D로 유형화했다. 참여자와 1차, 2차 인터뷰를 진행한 뒤 정보전달 뉴스를 듣고 설명문을 쓰는 딕토컴프 활동을 적용한다. 그런 후 심층적 분석을 위한 3차 인터뷰와 담화 통합 결과를 분석한다.결과 연구 참여자들의 공통된 분석 결과는 같은 자료를 들었음에도 내용 선택과 연결어 사용, 내용 조직 방법이 달랐음을 알 수 있었다. 언어 지식 부분에서는 어휘나 문법에 대한 오류, 내용 지식에서는 내용 제시형이 주를 이루고 구조 지식에서는 자료 요약형 형식이 많았다. 또한 설명문 작성에 필요한 형식적 구조가 미흡함을 알 수 있었다.유형별 세부적 분석 결과를 보면 A유형은 듣기에서 주제의 친숙도, 발화의 조직 형태나 유형에 주의를 기울이지 않았으며 통합 기제는 조직과 연결에 결함을 지니고 있으며 그 결과 쓰기에서 어휘나 문법의 오류, 의미의 위계 수준이 낮은 정보의 선택, 정보전달의 형식적 구조 지식이 미흡했다. B유형은 주제에 대한 친숙성이 높으며 발화 유형이나 조직형태를 잘 파악했으며 담화통합에 있어서 담화표지어를 다양하게 사용했다. 어휘나 문법에 있어서 부분적 오류가 나타났고 의미적 위계수준이 낮은 단어를 선택하였지만 선택된 단어를 중심으로 필자의 견해를 부연 설명한 구조를 보였다. C유형은 주제에 대한 친숙성이 높고 선택적인 어휘 빈도가 높았다. 들은 내용만 제시하는 자료 내용형이고 단락 중심의 요약형을 사용했다. D유형은 듣기 자료의 선택적 어휘가 가장 많이 풍부했으며 메모하기 전략을 글쓰기에 활용하고 있었다. 비문이 간혹 보이고 자료 내용형과 필자의 지식을 부가적으로 설명하는 방식을 취했다. 정보전달 글쓰기의 구조 형식을 잘 갖추었다.결론 본 연구는 질적연구로써 연구 참여자의 한국어능력 시험에서 듣기 쓰기 언어 기능 간 점수차 고하(高下)를 기준으로 4유형으로 분류한 점에서 대상자 선정의 차별성을 지닌다. 또 기존의 담화통합 연구물이 읽기, 쓰기 통합이라는 문어 중심과 달리 듣기, 쓰기라는 구어와 문어의 통합이라는 측면에서 통합의 연구 범위를 확대한 점이 연구 의의라 하겠다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, Dicto-comp activities are applied based on the relative difference between the listening and writing scores of the Korean Proficiency Test targeting Level 5 (4 students) of the Korean Language Proficiency Test among Chinese international students. Among the qualitative research methods, we will analyze the discourse integration pattern through case studies to obtain implications for deriving teaching strategies. Methods For data collection, a case of maximum deviation, one of the intentional sampling strategies, was selected and the participants listening and writing scores were categorized as A, B, C, and D based on the highest and lowest values. After conducting the 1st and 2nd interviews with the participant, the dictocomp activity that listens to the news and writes an explanation is applied. Then, the third interview for in-depth analysis and the result of discourse integration are analyzed. Results The results of the common analysis of the study participants revealed that content selection, linkage, and content organization methods were different even though they heard the same data. In terms of language knowledge, errors in vocabulary and grammar, content presentation type mainly in content knowledge, and data summary type in structure knowledge. In addition, it was found that the formal structure required for writing the explanatory text was insufficient. Conclusions As a qualitative study, this study has the differentiation in the selection of subjects in that it is classified into 4 types based on the difference of scores between listening and writing language skills in the Korean language proficiency test of the study participants. In addition, it is the significance of this study that the scope of research on integration was expanded in terms of the integration of written and spoken words such as listening and writing, unlike existing discourse integration studies focusing on the written language of reading and writing integration.
