환경스토리에 기초한 신체활동이 유아의 환경감수성과 신체적 자아개념에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 환경스토리에 기초한 신체활동을 개발하고 이를 적용하여 유아의 환경감수성과 신체적 자아개념에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 것이다.방법 이를 위해 S시에 소재한 Y유치원의 만 3세 유아 38명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 2018년 7월 2일부터 8월 10일까지 주 2회씩 총 12회의 환경스토리에 기초한 신체활동을 진행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23 프로그램을 사용하여 통계 처리하였다. 실험 전과 후의 실험집단과 비교집단의 유아의 환경감수성과 신체적 자아개념에 대한 독립표본 t 검정과 ANCOVA 분석을 하였다.결과 연구 결과 환경스토리에 기초한 신체활동은 유아의 환경감수성과 신체적 자아개념에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 환경감수성은 하위 영역 중 자연환경, 인공환경, 환경파괴에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 신체적 자아개념은 하위 영역 전체에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.결론 본 연구는 유아 환경교육의 효과적인 기초적 자료와 정보를 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to develop physical activities based on environmental stories and to examine the effects of physical self-concept on environmental sensitivity of young children. Methods For this purpose, 38 children aged 3 years old in Y kindergarten located in S city were selected as the subjects and physical activities based on environmental story were conducted twice a week from July 2 to August 10, 2018. The collected data were statistically processed using SPSS 23 program. The independent sample t-test and ANCOVA analysis were conducted on the environmental sensitivity and physical self-concept of the experimental group and the comparative group before and after the experiment. Results The results of this study showed that physical activities based on environmental stories affect children s environmental sensitivity and physical self-concept. Environmental sensitivity was found to affect the natural environment, artificial environment, and environmental destruction among the sub-areas, and physical self-concept was found to have a positive effect on the whole sub-areas. Conclusions This study is meaningful in that it presented effective basic data and information of environmental education for young children.
