국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중국 대학생들의 SNS 중독경향성이 SNS 이용동기와 대인관계문제 간의 관계를 매개하는지를 검증하는 데에 두었다. 연구대상은 중국 중경시에 거주하는 3개 대학의 학생 318명(남학생 145명, 여학생 173명)이며, 설문조사는 5주(2020. 9. 14 - 10.17) 동안 실시되었다. 자료는 기술통계, 상관분석 그리고 구조방정식모형 분석을 통해 처리되었다. 구조방정식모형 분석의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중국 대학생의 SNS 이용동기는 SNS 중독경향성과 정적인 관계가 있지만 대인관계문제와는 부적 관계가 있다. 둘째, 중국 대학생의 SNS 중독경향성은 SNS 이용동기와 대인관계문제 간의 관계를 매개하는 역할을 한다. 이 결과는 중국 대학생들이 원만한 대인관계를 맺고 유지하기 위해서는 SNS를 효과적으로 이용하는 것이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The main purpose of this study was to test whether Chinese university students’ SNS addiction tendency mediate the relationship between SNS use motivation and interpersonal problems. Subjects were 318 students (145 males, 173 females) from three university in Chongqing city, China. Survey was conducted for five weeks (2020. 9. 14 - 10. 17). Data were conducted using descriptive statistics, correlation, and structural equation modeling. The results of structural equation modeling were as follows; First, Chinese university students’ SNS use motivation was positively related to SNS addiction tendency, but was negatively associated with interpersonal problems. Second, Chinese university students’ SNS addiction tendency fully mediated the relationship between SNS use motivation and interpersonal problems. These findings suggest that Chinese university students are required to use social network services effectively in order to initiate and maintain good interpersonal relationships with others.
