독거노인에게 제공되는 돌봄기본서비스 질이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 독거노인의 성장과 행복에 도움을 주며 삶의 질을 높일 수 있는 사회적 자원, 즉 독거노인에 대한 죽음불안을 낮추고 삶의 질을 증진시키는 방안을 제공하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 독거노인의 돌봄기본서비스 질, 삶의 만족도, 죽음불안 간의 구조적 영향관계를 검증하였다. 연구대상은 서울시내 5개 구에 거주하는 노인돌봄기본서비스를 제공받고 있는 독거노인으로 총 271명이며 그 중, 남성 71명, 여성 200명의 데이터를 활용하였다. 분석방법은 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 통계분석을 실시하였다. 주요 분석결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 돌봄기본서비스의 질 요인이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대해서는 유형성이 가장 강하게 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났으며, 그 다음으로는 공감성, 보증성, 대응성, 신뢰성의 순으로 나타났다. 죽음불안에 미치는 영향에 대해서는 유형성, 공감성, 보증성, 대응성, 신뢰성으로 나타났으며, 독거노인의 죽음불안은 삶의 만족도에 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 돌봄기본서비스 질과 삶의 만족도 관계에서 죽음불안은 돌봄기본서비스의 질인 보증성, 공감성, 신뢰성, 대응성, 유형성과 삶의 만족도 관계에서 모두 유의한 매개효과를 나타내는 것을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide the social resources that can promote the growth of the elderly living alone and their happiness while enhancing the quality of life, that is, a strategy that can reduce the death anxiety of the elderly living alone and enhance the quality of life. For this purpose, the researcher verified the structural correlation between the quality of basic care services for the elderly living alone, life satisfaction, and death anxiety. For this study, the participants were composed of 271 elderly who were living alone and receiving elderly care services in five districts of Seoul. Of these, 71 were male, and 200 were female. The data gathered from these participants were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 to conduct a statistical analysis. The key findings of the said analysis were as follows; With regard to the impact of the quality of the basic care service upon life satisfaction, the formality had a strong impact, followed by empathy, guarantee, responsiveness, and trust. As for the impact on death anxiety, the impact was significant in the order of formality, empathy, guarantee, responsiveness, and trust. The death anxiety of the elderly living alone was found to have a negative impact on life satisfaction. Also, it was shown that, in the relationship between the quality of basic care services and life satisfaction, all of the quality factors of care services, such as guarantee, empathy, trust, responsiveness, and formality, had a significant mediating effect upon life satisfaction.
