구성주의적 ISD와 디자인씽킹 융합 모형의 적용 가능성 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 학습자 중심의 교육 패러다임으로의 전환이 강조되는 평생교육의 상황·맥락적 조건에서 예비 평생교육사가 학습자 중심의 프로그램 개발 역량을 보다 효과적으로 습득하도록 지원하기 위한 새로운 교육설계모형으로 구성주의적 ISD모형과 디자인씽킹의 융합을 시도하였다. 연구자들은 이 융합모형을 ‘평생교육 프로그램 개발론’이라는 한 학기 수업에 적용하였고, 학생들이 이 모형을 활용하여 ‘사범대생 대상의 죽음교육 프로그램’을 개발하는 실습을 하도록 지원함으로써 이 모형의 활용 가능성을 확인하였다. 연구 결과에서 이 융합모형은 구성주의적 ISD모형과 디자인씽킹의 상호보완적 결합으로 초보 개발자인 학생들에게도 학습자 중심의 프로그램을 개발할 수 있는 역량을 습득하는데 도움을 줄 수 있음을 확인하였다. 하지만 이 융합모형이 효과적으로 활용되기 위해서는 학습자가 주체가 되는 학습으로의 인식전환을 위한 노력을 포함하여 학습자 중심의 교육환경을 지원하기 위한 교수자와 설계자들의 철학과 섬세한 지원이 요구된다는 시사점도 얻을 수 있었다. 이 융합모형 적용 연구의 시사점과 제언을 기반으로 평생교육에 적용을 위한 추가연구가 계속되어 평생교육 현장에 적합한 전략들이 반영된다면 이 융합모형의 활용이 ‘학습자 중심 학습 패러다임 구축’을 위한 평생교육의 혁신에 기여할 수 있으리라 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to converge the constructivist ISD model and design thinking as a new educational design model to support preliminary lifelong educators more effectively acquiring learner-centered program development competencies in the context of lifelong education in which the transition to a learner-centered educational paradigm is emphasized. Researchers confirmed the applicability of this convergence model by applying this model to a semester class called ‘Theory of program development for lifelong education’, and by supporting students to use this model to practice developing a ‘Death Education Program for university students’. From the results of the study, it was confirmed that this convergence model can help students who are novice developers to acquire the competence to develop learner-centered programs through the complementary combination of constructivist ISD model and design thinking. However, in order for this convergence model to be effectively utilized, it has implications that the philosophy and delicate support of instructors and designers are required to support a learner-centered educational environment, including efforts to shift the learner s paradigm about learning. Based on the lessons learned and suggestions of this convergence model application research, if additional research for application to lifelong education continues and strategies suitable for the lifelong education field are reflected, the use of this model can contribute to building a learner-centered education paradigm in lifelong education field.
