국문 초록

영유아교사의 전문성을 향상하는 방안은 교사양성과정부터 출발해야 하며 실천적인 지식이나 경험을 할 수 있는 초임교사 대상 연수나 멘토링이 필요하다는 요구가 있다. 본 연구는 뉴질랜드 영유아교사의 전문성 신장 방안을 알아보기 위해 교사양성과정과 연수·멘토링에 관한 다양한 자료를 수집하여 우리나라 영유아교사의 전문성 신장을 위한 정책적 시사점을 탐색하고자 한다. 연구주제의 범위는 뉴질랜드자격체제 7수준의 교사와 정규자격을 취득하기 전에 이루어지는 교사양성성과정과 연수·멘토링으로 한정하였다. 자료조사는 2020년 2월부터 6월까지 진행되었으며 7월부터 9월까지 자료정리 및 시사점 도출이 이루어졌다. 정책적 시사점은 교과중심의 교육과정 체계 탈피, 실습을 더욱 강조하여 실습 기간 연장 및 실습교과의 확대, 실습을 지원하는 가이드라인 및 행정 지원, 교사의 실천을 위한 연수·멘토링 배움공동체 지원, 영유아교사 및 역량에 대한 관점 수립을 들 수 있다.

영문 초록

Among the measures to improve the professionalism of early childhood teachers, the basics are in the teacher training process, and there is a demand for training or mentoring for beginner teachers. This study aims to explore policy implications for enhancing the professionalism of early childhood teachers in Korea by collecting data on the college teacher training process, training and mentoring of New Zealand teachers professionalism. The scope of the research topics was limited to teachers of the 7th level of the New Zealand qualification system and teacher training courses, training and mentoring that took place before obtaining a regular qualification. The data for teacher’s certification and induction/mentoring is collected during 2020. Feb-Jun and finding the implications are done during Jul-Sep. The policy implications are to break away from the curriculum-centered curriculum system, extend the training period and expand the training curriculum by further emphasizing the practice, support guidelines and administrative support for training, training and mentoring for the practice of teachers, support for the learning community, infant and toddler teachers, and establishing a perspective on competence.
