유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 환경에 따른양육스트레스의 차이와 요인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 양육하는 어머니의 사회인구학적 환경에 따른 양육스트레스의 차이를 알아보고 양육스트레스를 유발하는 주요인을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 수도권에 거주하며 유아기 자녀를 양육하는 어머니 711명을 연구 대상으로 한국아동패널의 양육스트레스 척도를 사용하여 양육스트레스를 측정하였다. 조사된 자료는 SPSS 24.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석과 기술통계, 차이분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 어머니들의 연령과 취업 여부에 따라서는 양육스트레스에 차이가 나타나지 않았고 가정의 경제 상황에 대한 어머니의 인식 수준에는 집단 간 차이가 나타났다. 자신의 가정 경제 상황을 ‘중’이거나 ‘하’로 인식한 어머니들은 ‘상’으로 인식한 어머니들에 비해 더 많은 양육스트레스를 받고 있었으며 가정의 경제 상황의 인식 수준에 따라 다른 요인에 대해 양육스트레스를 받고 있었다. 본 연구는 양육스트레스의 유무뿐만 아니라 문항에 대한 분석을 실시하여 유아의 발달과 어머니의 심리적, 신체적 건강에 영향을 미치는 양육스트레스의 조기 차단과 관리에 대상의 상황에 맞는 정책의 개발과 향후 연구에 대하여 구체적인 방향을 제시하였다는데 연구의 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate the difference of parenting stress according to the social demographic environment of mothers who raise their children in early childhood and to investigate the main causes of parenting stress. For this study, 711 mothers who live in the near by Seoul and raise their children in early childhood were surves. And parenting stress was measured using the parenting stress scale of the Korean Children s Panel. Data was analyzed with statistics using the SPSS Win 24.0 version. The results of this study were as follows: There was a difference in parenting stress according to economic level in the family. Mothers with low economic level of family felt a lot of burden of child support and mothers with high economic level of family felt a lot of physical fatigue. The economic situation of the family was different kinds of parenting stress. There was no difference between the groups of parenting stress according to the mother s age and employment status. This study meaningful in that it analyzed not only the presence of parenting stress but also the questions and suggested specific directions for early blocking and management of parenting stress affecting not only the development of infants but also the psychological and physical health of mothers.
