어머니 양육참여와 아버지 놀이참여가 자녀 미디어중독에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아 어머니의 양육 참여와 아버지의 놀이 참여가 유아 미디어 중독에 미치는 영향이 어떠한지를 확인하기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 이를 위하여 2020년 5월 첫째 주에 B광역시에 소재한 유아 부모 385명을 대상으로 일반적인 배경, 상관분석, 단계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 어머니의 양육 참여와 아버지의 놀이 참여는 유아 미디어중독을 낮추는데 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 특히 두 변인 중 어머니의 양육 참여가 아버지의 놀이 참여보다 높은 영향을 미치는 것으로 드러났다. 한편, 어머니 양육 참여와 아버지 놀이 참여의 하위 변인을 살펴본 결과 어머니의 발달지원 참여, 아버지의 상징놀이 참여가 유아 미디어 중독을 떨어뜨리는데 긍정적인 영향을 끼쳤다. 그리고 두 변인 가운데 어머니의 발달지원 참여가 더 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구는 유아 미디어중독을 해소하고 정신적으로 건강한 유아를 길러내기 위하여 어머니의 양육 참여, 아버지의 놀이 참여가 필요하다는 것을 확인시켜 준다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of mothers participation in parenting and fathers participation in play to infant media addiction. For the realization of the research purpose I anylized the general background, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis for 385 parents of infants located in B Metropolitan City. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that mother s participation in parenting and father s participation in play had a positive effect on lowering infant media addiction. In particular, it was found that among the two variables, mother s participation in parenting had a higher influence than father s participation in play. On the other hand, as a result of examining the sub-variables of mother-parenting participation and father s play participation, mother s participation in developmental support and father s participation in symbolic play had a positive effect on lowering infant media addiction. And among the two variables, the mother s participation in developmental support had a greater influence. This study is meaningful in that it confirms that mother s participation in parenting and father s participation in play are necessary in order to resolve media addiction to infants and raise mentally healthy infants.
