예비유아교사의 교직선택동기와 기본심리욕구가 자기효능감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 교직선택동기와 기본심리욕구가 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구문제는 첫째, 예비유아교사의 교직선택동기, 기본심리욕구와 자기효능감의 일반적인 경향을 알아보고 둘째, 예비유아교사의 교직선택동기, 기본심리욕구와 자기효능감의 관계를 알아보며, 셋째, 예비유아교사의 교직선택동기, 기본심리욕구가 자기효능감에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보았다. 연구대상은 경기도에 위치한 3년제 대학 세 곳의 예비유아교사 1, 2, 3학년과 전공심화과정 학생을 선정하였으며, 2020년 7월 13일부터 7월 31일까지 총 171명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 자료처리는 SPSS WIN 21.0v을 사용하여 Pearson의 상관계수와 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 연구결과, 예비유아교사의 교직선택동기와 기본심리욕구, 자기효능감의 유의미한 상관관계가 나타나 교직에 대한 선택 동기와 기본심리욕구의 충족이 자기효능감을 증진시킬 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 자세히 살펴보면, 능동적 동기, 물질적 동기, 자율성, 유능성이 높을수록 자기효능감이 높은 것으로 나타났고, 수동적 동기는 자기효능감에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The study intended to identify the effect of the preschool pre-teacher’s motivation for selecting teaching profession and basic psychological need on self-efficacy. The research questions were as follows: first, identify the general tendency of the preschool pre-teacher’s motivation for selecting teaching profession, basic psychological need, and self-efficacy; second, identify the relationship between the preschool pre-teacher’s motivation for selecting teaching profession, basic psychological need, and self-efficacy; and third, identify the effect of the preschool pre-teacher’s motivation for selecting teaching profession and basic psychological need on self-efficacy. The prospective infant teachers in their first, second and third years and students taking intensive major course from 3 three-year universities located in Gyeonggi-do were selected, and the survey was conducted on a total of 171 students from July 13, 2020 until July 31, 2020. The data of this study was processed using SPSS WIN 21.0v for Pearson’s correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study showed a significant correlation between the preschool pre-teacher’s motivation for selecting teaching profession, basic psychological need, and self-efficacy, which indicates that satisfying the motivation for selecting teaching profession and basic psychological need could improve self-efficacy. On a closer view, the higher the active motivation, material motivation, autonomy and competence, the higher the self-efficacy, while the passive motivation had a negative effect on self-efficacy.
