청소년에 대한 사회적 지지가 학업 성과에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년을 둘러쌓고 있는 주변의 사회적 지지-가족 사회적 지지, 친구 사회적 지지, 교사 사회적 지지-과 회복탄력성이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향을 파악함으로써 회복탄력성에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 사회적 지지의 유형이 무엇인지 그리고 사회적 지지와 학업 성과를 매개하는 회복탄력성의 효과를 밝히고자 한다. 이를 위해 Hayes의 Process를 사용해 각 변수 간의 관계와 매개 효과를 분석하였다. 연구대상자는 중·고생 331명(중학생 89명, 인문계 고등학생 242명)이었으며, 이들은 각 사회적 지지 척도, 회복탄력성 척도, 학업 성과 척도에 응답하였다. 응답 데이터를 분석한 결과 각각의 변수들은 회복탄력성과 학업 성과에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 작용하였고, 그 중에서도 가족으로부터의 사회적 지지가 회복탄력성을 가장 많이 높일 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 사회적 지지를 통해 향상된 회복탄력성이 학업 성과에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이를 통해, 학교에서는 가족 관계 향상을 위한 다양한 교육적 프로그램을 개발 및 적용하여 청소년들의 사회적 지지를 높여 학생들의 회복탄력성을 높임으로써 학업적으로 높은 성과를 얻을 수 있는 환경을 조성할 수 있도록 해야 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of social support-family social support, friend social support, teacher social support- and resilience on academic performance towards middle and high school students. And I also try to find the effect of resilience that mediates social support and academic performance. The subjects of the study were 331 middle and high school students (89 middle school students and 242 high school students), and they answered three types of social support, resilience, and academic performance. Hayes Process was used to analyze the relationships and mediating effects between variables. The results show that each social support influenced resilience and academic performance, and family social support specifically increased resilience the most. In addition, improved resilience through social support has significant impact on academic performance. With the results, the school should develop and apply various education programs to improve family relations, so as to raise the social support of adolescents and improve the resilience of students so that they can achieve academic achievement.
