긍정적 성격 유형에 따른 예비유아교사의 자기효능감 차이 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 긍정적 성격 유형에 따른 예비유아교사의 자기효능감의 차이 연구를 통해 교직에서 가장 중요한 변인 중 하나인 교사로서 자신에 대한 믿음과 긍정적 신념을 의미하는 자기효능감 형성에 미치는 성격의 긍정적 경향성을 분석해보고자 실시되었다. 연구대상으로는 인천, 경기 지역에 위치한 대학의 유아교육과 졸업반 378명이었으며, 조사기간은 4월1일에서 20일까지였고, 설문조사한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 예비유아교사의 긍정적 성격 유형 중 안정성은 자기효능감의 하위요인 중 자신감, 과제난이도 선호성과 정적상관을 나타냈고, 사회성은 자신감, 자기조절효능감, 과제난이도 선호성과 그리고 책임성과 사려성은 자기조절효능감과 과제난이도 선호성과 정적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 긍정적 성격의 유형인 안정성, 사회성, 책임성, 사려성 모두 긍정성이 높은 상집단의 경우 자기효능감의 3개 하위요소에서 높은 점수를 나타내었고, 유의미한 집단 간 차이점은 유형에 따라 다소 다른 양상을 보였다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 교사로서의 자기 신념에 영향을 미치는 긍정적 성격 형성의 중요성을 인식시켜 주며, 긍정적 성격의 향상과 자기효능감의 긍정성을 높이기 위한 다양한 방식의 교사교육프로그램의 개발을 위한 기초자료가 될 것을 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to find out the relationship between types of positive characters and self-efficacy among prospective early childhood teachers which is one of the most important variables for teachers and the positive tendency of characters that affect in forming self-efficacy which means self-confidence and positive belief. The study targets were 396 graduating class students majoring in early childhood education at colleges in Incheon and Gyeonggi area, and the results are as follows; Firstly, Firstly, among types of positive characters of prospective early childhood teachers, stability has positive relations with self-confidence, self-control efficacy, and preference of level of task difficulty which are sub-factors of self-efficacy. Sociality has positive relations with self-confidence, self-control efficacy, and preference of level of task difficulty. Responsibility and consideredness had positive relations with self-control efficacy and preference of level of task difficulty. Secondly, among high group who has higher positivity in stability, sociality, responsibility, consideredness which are the types of positive characters for prospective early childhood teachers, showed higher scores in 3 sub-factors of self-efficacy. But meaningful differences among groups had somewhat different patterns by types. The results of this study will make related people perceive the importance of forming positive characters which affect self-confidence as teachers and can be used as a base material to develop various carriculums for teachers to form a positive character and to increase the positivity of self-efficacy.
