대학생의 자아존중감과 자기효능감 수준에 따른 다문화수용성 인지, 정의, 행동 차원의 차이

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 자아존중감과 자기효능감 수준에 따라 다문화수용성 및 하위요인인 인지, 정의, 행동 각 영역에서 어떠한 차이가 있는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2018년 10월, 서울과 경기지역 3개 대학의 301명의 학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 불성실한 응답과 결측치가 있는 자료를 제거한 후 286부를 연구 분석에 활용하여 독립표본 t검정과 다변량 분산분석(MANOVA)를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 자아존중감과 자기효능감, 다문화수용성과 하위요인 간에는 모두 정적 상관을 보였으며, 대학생의 자아존중감과 자기효능감이 높을수록 다문화수용성도 높았다. 또한 자아존중감과 자기효능감 수준을 네 집단으로 나누고 다문화수용성 하위변인에서의 차이를 분석한 결과 인지, 정의, 행동 영역 모두에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로 자아존중감과 자기효능감 수준에 따른 네 집단 간 차이를 살펴본 결과, 하위 4/4분위 집단에서 상위 1/4분위 집단으로 갈수록 다문화수용성의 인지, 정의, 행동 영역의 점수도 높아졌다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 논의와 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the differences in the areas of awareness, justice and behavior, which are multicultural water availability and sub-factors, depending on the level of self-respect and self-efficacy of university students. To this end, 301 students from three universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province were surveyed to remove data with negative responses and missing values, and the final sample part 286 was used for research and analysis to conduct independent sample t-test and multivariate analysis of variance(MANOVA). According to the study, firstly, there was a static correlation between self-esteem and self-efficacy, multicultural acceptance and lower factors, and the higher the self-esteem and self-efficacy of university students, the higher the degree of self-reliance and self-efficacy, the higher the level of multicultural water availability. Second, an analysis of differences in the sub-variety of multicultural acceptability according to the level of self-respect has shown that there are significant differences in all four groups depending on the group in the areas of perception, justice and behavior. Third, the analysis of differences in the lower variables of multicultural acceptability according to the level of self-efficacy showed significant differences in all four groups. In addition, as we looked at the differences between the four groups according to the level of self-esteem and self-efficacy, the scores in the areas of awareness, justice and behavior of multicultural acceptability increased as well, from the bottom fourth to the top fourth. Based on these findings, discussions and implications were presented.
