사례가이드학습(CGL) 수업모형의 개발 및 적용 사례 연구

국문 초록

교실수업의 학습환경과 실제 수행환경의 괴리로 인해 학교에서 배운 지식과 기술을 실제 직면한 문제상황에서 적용할 수 없는 비활성화된 지식의 문제가 자주 발생한다. 본 연구는 이런 문제를 해결하기 위해 설계·개발 연구방법론을 적용하여 초기의 개념모형의 개발 이후 약 1년간의 전문가의 타당화 작업을 거치면서 절차모형과 실천모형 개발을 하였고, 이 실천모형을 2016년 2학기 동안 실제 대학 수업에 적용한 사례연구를 통하여 모형의 수업 적용 가능성을 확인하였다. 수업모형의 주요 구성요소는 주제와 해결과제, 소사례가 갖고 있는 차원/관점/해석, 학습이슈 등이 있다. 이 요소들은 협력적 문제해결과 종합 및 성찰 과정을 통하여 심화되면서 학습자의 인지적 유연성을 향상시켜 나갈 것으로 기대된다. 본 모형은 사례가 수업내용을 반영하면서 수업을 이끌어 가고 있기 때문에 사례가이드학습이라고 명명되었다. 사례연구를 통해 학생들의 긍정적인 평가는 효과성, 효율성, 만족성, 매력성 측면에서 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 기반으로 사례가이드학습 수업모형의 시사점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Inert knowledge problem, in which learners are not able to apply knowledge and skills learned in school into real problem situations faced in an everyday life, often occurs due to the alienation of learning environment and performance environment. To solve this problem, by using design-development research, this study developed an initial conceptual model, procedural model, and implemental model through several experts’ validation of each model during about one year. The study also verified the possibility of the application of the developed implemental model into real instruction by conducting a case study in a real college class in the second semester, 2016. Main components of the developed model include learning theme and task, dimensions/perspectives/interpretations of mini-cases, and learning issues. These components are expected to increase learners’ cognitive flexibility while they are doing collaborative problem solving activities with synthesis and reflection. Because cases lead and guide the instruction as reflecting instructional contents, the developed model was named Case-Guided Learning, CGL in short. The case study showed learners’ positive evaluation on the CGL model in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, satisfaction, and attraction. Based on the findings, the study suggested implications of the CGL model.
