국문 초록

본 연구는 공공성 강화를 통한 유아교육 혁신방안에 대한 유치원 교원과 학부모의 이해도 및 만족도에 대한 인식을 분석하는데 목적을 두고 제주시에 소재한 국공립 및 사립유치원에 근무하는 교원 및 학부모 각각 218명, 358명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 2018년 10월 15일부터 26일까지 2주간에 걸쳐 설문조사를 수행하였다. 수집된 설문 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였고, 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 유아교육 혁신방안에 대한 교원의 이해도와 만족도 수준은 보통이었고 둘째, 유아교육 혁신방안에 대한 학부모의 이해도와 만족도 수준 역시 보통이었다. 셋째, 유아교육 혁신방안에 대한 이해도는 교원이 학부모보다 높게 인식하였고, 만족도는 학부모가 교원보다 높게 인식하였다. 전반적으로 정부에서 만든 공공성 강화를 통한 유아교육 혁신방안에 대한 교원과 학부모의 이해도 및 만족도 수준은 그렇게 높은 편이 아니기 때문에 정책에 대한 적극적인 홍보 노력이 필요하며 현장의 교원과 학부모의 의견을 수용한 유아교육 정책이 수립되어야 함을 간접적으로 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study is to analyze the understanding and satisfaction of innovation measures for early childhood education through the reinforcement of publicness, targeting kindergarten teachers and parents. A survey was conducted for two weeks from October 15th to October 26th 2018, targeting 358 parents and 218 teachers working for national/public and private kindergartens in Jeju-si. The collected data was analyzed by using the SPSS Program, and the results of this study were drawn as follows. First, the teachers understanding and satisfaction of innovations measures for early childhood education showed the average level while the level of satisfaction was lower than the understanding. Second, the parents understanding and satisfaction of innovation measures for early childhood education showed the average level while the level of satisfaction was a bit higher than the understanding. Third, the understanding of innovation measures for early childhood education was more highly perceived by teachers than parents while the satisfaction was more highly perceived by parents than teachers. As the teachers and parents did not show high level of understanding and satisfaction of innovations measures for early childhood education through the reinforcement of publicness created by the government, it would be necessary to actively promote the policy. And it also indirectly implies that the early childhood education policies should be established by collecting opinions from parents and teachers in site.
