한국과 중국의 대입 특별전형에 대한 사례 비교 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 중국의 특별전형에 대한 이해와 함께 한국의 특별전형 운영 및 개선에 대한 시사점을 도출하는 데 그 목적을 두었다. 연구 방법인 사례 비교를 위해 한국과 중국의 수도 소재 S대학교와 P대학교의 전형자료를 탐색 및 분석하는 문헌조사연구를 실시하였다. 중국의 전형자료는 2018년 7월부터 8월까지 웹사이트를 통해 수집한 자료를 중심으로 연구하였다. 연구의 세부 접근 방법은 전형운영, 전형방법, 합격자 선발을 비교 준거로 하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 한국 사례인 S대학은 대학 구성원의 다양성과 대학의 사회적 책무성 확보를 위하여 차등적 보상 기준에 의해 학생을 선발하기 위한 취지로 특별전형을 운영하고 있음을 엿볼 수 있다. 반면에 중국 사례인 P대학은 대체로 특별한 경력이나 소질 등 대학이 제시하는 기준에 적합한 학생을 선발하기 위한 목적으로 특별전형을 운영하는 것이 특징이라 할 수 있다. 연구 결과를 통해 한국의 특별전형 운영 및 개선 방안에 대해 비교교육학적 관점에서 논의해 볼 시사점을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study was not only to present the implications to operate and improve Special Admission of Korea by comparative analysis on the Special Admission between Korea and China, but also to get a basic understanding of China s Special Admission. By the research method, a literature research was conducted to search and analyze Admission materials of S University and P University, which is one of 4 years university system and also locates at capital city of each Korea and China. To compare the case, we translated and analyzed Admission materials of S University and P University from July to August 2018. As a method of approach, a comparative study on the Special Admission of two universities was conducted focusing on selection operation, selection method, and selection of successful applicants. The results of the research are as follows. S University pays attention to the students’ diversity and social responsibility. P University focuses on selecting students who have special talent or characteristics. And S University did not measure students by the Lowest academic ability standard while P University did. Based on the results of the research, we have suggested implications for the operation and improvement of Special Admission in Korea.
