체험학습관련 연구에서 나타난 문제점 분석 통한 개선방안 탐색

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 지난 19년 동안 체험학습관련 연구들이 제시해온 문제점들을 분석하여 지속적으로 제기되는 문제들은 무엇이며, 어떻게 변화되었는지를 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위해 국내 발행 학술연구정보서비스의 등재 및 등재 후보 학술지에 게재된 논문 중, 1999년부터 2017년까지 19년간 출간된 체험학습 관련 주제의 문제점들이 포함된 70편을 대상으로 본 연구에서 마련한 분석준거에 따라 시기별 변화를 파악하였다. 분석결과에 나타난 주요 문제점들은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 체험학습을 위한 프로그램 및 콘텐츠가 부족하다. 지속적으로 프로그램의 필요성이 언급되었으며 초기(‘99-‘08년)에는 양적인 부족이라면 후기(‘09-‘17)에는 특성을 반영한 다양한 프로그램의 부족이 제기되었다. 둘째, 체험학습을 위한 체계적인 지원이 부족하다. 초기에는 실행에 따른 체계성 없는 프로그램 및 지원을 다루었다면 후기에는 지역 자 원 연계의 어려움이 언급되었다. 셋째, 체험학습에 적합한 교수학습법이 적절히 사용되어야 하나 주로 강의식으로 운영이 된다는 것으로 이는 초기부터 현재까지 꾸준히 제기되고 있었다. 넷째, 체험학습에 대한 낮은 인식은 지속적으로 나타나고 있으며 부정적인 인식은 초기에는 강하게 나타났으나 이후 줄어들고 있었다. 다섯째, ICT 기술의 체험학습 이용에 따른 문제점은 2008년 이후 등장하였고 기술의 활용이 잘 되지 않는 점을 주로 꼽았다. 이와 같은 결과들이 의미하는 바를 각각의 사안에 따라 논의하고, 향후 학습자 주도의 체험학습을 위한 개선방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the problem sentences presented by experiential learning researches, to find out what problems are continuously raised, and to analyze how these problems have changed. For this purpose, this study selected 70 papers containing problem sentences among the papers related to experiential learning, published from 1999 to 2017, and analyzed the problem sentences according to the analysis criteria. Analysis of the articles produced the following results: First, lack of programs and contents for experiential learning. The need for the program was mentioned constantly. In detail, if there was a lack of quantitative growth in the early years, there was a lack of programs reflecting various characteristics in the latter period. Second, lack of systematic support for experiential learning. In the early period, there was a lack of systematic programs being implemented, while in the latter period, resource-linking difficulties were raised. Third, the teaching and learning method suitable for experiential learning should be used properly, but it is mainly operated by lecture. Fourth, low perceptions of experiential learning persisted and negative perceptions were strong at the beginning but then decreased. Fifth, problems related to the use of empirical learning in ICT technology have appeared since 2008, and the biggest problem was that the technology was not used well. Finally, This study discussed the implications of these results in accordance with each issue and proposed ways to improve learner-led experiential learning in the future.
