유아사회교육의 ‘사회과학지식’ 영역 연구동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아사회교육의 ‘사회과학지식’ 영역 연구동향을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 2010년부터 2017년까지 KCI에 등재된 국내 학술지의 논문 238편을 연구시기, 연구주제, 연구유형, 연구대상별로 빈도와 백분율을 산출하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구시기별 분석결과는 2010년부터 꾸준한 증가세를 보이며 2013년에 가장 많은 연구가 이루어졌으나 2017년에 다시 감소세를 나타냈다. 둘째, 연구주제별 분석결과는 다문화 주제가 가장 많이 이루어졌으며, 환경, 경제 연구가 유사한 비율로 이루어졌다. 상대적으로 경제, 역사, 민주시민, 지리연구는 미미하게 이루어졌다. 셋째, 연구유형별 분석결과는 양적연구가 질적연구에 비해 많았다. 넷째, 연구대상별 분석결과는 유아를 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많았으며 교사, 문헌, 예비교사 등의 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 유아사회교육에서 ‘사회과학지식’ 영역의 연구동향을 분석하고 이를 토대로 ‘사회과학지식’ 영역 연구의 범위를 넓히는 계기를 제공했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends in the field of social scientific knowledge in early childhood social education. For this purpose, 238 papers from domestic journals listed in KCI from 2010 to 2017 were analyzed and analyzed by study period, research topic, type of research, and percentage of research subjects. The results of the study are as follows. First, according to the analysis of the study period, it has been steadily increasing since 2010, and the most research was done in 2013, but it decreased again in 2017. Second, multicultural topics were the most common, and environmental and economic studies were similar. Relatively economic, historical, democratic citizenship, and geographical research have been done in a marginal way. Third, the results of analysis by research type were more concentrated on quantitative research than qualitative research. Fourth, the analysis results of the study subjects showed that the most research was done on children, followed by teachers, literature, and pre-service teachers. This study is meaningful in that it provided an opportunity to broaden the horizon of the study of social scientific knowledge area based on the analysis of research trends in social scientific knowledge area in early childhood social education research.
