델파이 조사를 통한 디지털 테크놀로지를 활용한 수학 중심 STEAM 교육에서의 교사 역량

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 디지털 테크놀로지를 활용한 수학 중심 STEAM 교육에서의 교사 역량을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 11명의 전문가 패널을 대상으로 델파이 조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 테크놀로지를 활용한 수학 중심 STEAM 교육의 각 단계(개발 단계, 재구성 단계, 적용 단계, 실행 단계)에서 요구되는 교사 역량을 도출하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 디지털 테크놀로지를 활용한 수학 중심 STEAM 교육의 개발 단계, 재구성 단계, 적용 단계, 평가 단계에서 요구되는 교사 역량이 도출되었다. 둘째, 디지털 테크놀로지를 활용한 교육과 STEAM 교육이 융합된 디지털 테크놀로지를 활용한 수학 중심 STEAM 교육의 교사 역량을 도출하 였다. 본 연구의 결과는 교사들이 디지털 테크놀로지를 활용한 수학 중심 STEAM 교육을 시행함에 있어 역량을 확인할 수 있는 준거와 교사 교육 및 재교육을 위한 기초 자료로서 활용할 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to derive the teacher competencies for mathematics centered STEAM education using digital technologies. In order to derive core competencies for mathematics centered STEAM education using digital technologies, a Delphi survey was conducted on 11 expert panels. The Delphi survey was conducted in three rounds. In this study, the teacher competencies for mathematics centered STEAM education using digital technologies were derived at each stages - development stage, implementation stage, evaluation stage and reconstruction stage of STEAM program. The results were as follows. First, some teacher competencies required in the development stage, reconstruction stage, application stage, and evaluation stage of mathematics centered STEAM education using digital technology were similar, but others were different. Second, teacher competencies for mathematics centered STEAM education using digital technology that converged digital technology utilization education and STEAM education were presented. These competencies were different from the competencies for digital technology utilization education and the competencies for STEAM education. This study was expected to give the following implications to mathematics centered STEAM education using digital technology. First, teachers can help identify the competencies needed for mathematics centered STEAM education using digital technology. Second, the results of this study can be used as basic data for teacher education and retraining.
