유아의 또래놀이 상호작용 특성이 학업능력과 학습준비도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아의 또래놀이 장면에서 나타나는 세 가지 상호작용 특성(상 호적 또래놀이, 놀이방해, 놀이단절)이 학업능력과 학습준비도에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널 7차년도(2014년) 조사에 응한 1,094명의 유아 데이터를 활용하여 구조모형 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 유아의 또래 놀이상호작용 특성 중 상호적 또래놀이는 학업능력과 학습준비도에 긍정적 영향력 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 놀이방해는 학업능력과 학습준비도 모두에 대해 유의한 영향을 갖지 않았다. 셋째, 놀이단절은 학업능력과 학습준비도에 부정적적 영향 력을 나타냈다. 본 연구는 유아의 또래놀이 상호작용과 학업능력 및 학습준비도간의 관계를 설명함으로써 유아 또래놀이의 중요성을 확인했다는 데에 의미가 있다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 유아 또래놀이 상호작용 특성과 학업능력과 학습준비도 등의 인지적 영역의 발달에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of three interaction characteristics(interactive peer-play, play disruption and play disconnection) on academic ability and school readiness. For this, structural model analysis was carried out by using the data of 1,094 infants who participated in the 7 th year(2014) survey of Korean Children and Youth Panel. The results of this study are as follows: First, interactive peer-play among child s peer-play interaction characteristics showed a positive influence on academic ability and school readiness. Second, play disruption had no significant effect on both academic ability and school readiness. Third, play disconnection had negative influence on academic ability and school readiness. This study is meaningful as it verified the importance of child’s peer-play by describing connections between child’s peer-play interaction and academic ability and school readiness. Based on the results of this study, we suggest the implications about development of cognitive domain such as interaction characteristics of child s peer play, academic ability and school readiness.
