애착이야기 그림검사의 임상적 유용성 검증: 예측타당도를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 애착이야기 그림검사의 임상적 유용성을 확인하기 위해 실시되었다. 이를 위해 애착이야기 검사를 통해 측정한 아동의 양육자에 대한 애착 표상과 정서 조절, 문제행동 간의 관련성을 살펴보고, 민감도와 특이도, 절단점을 확인하기 위한 ROC 분석을 실시하였다. 실험 및 분석은 2012년 1～5월에 이루어졌으며, 연구 대상은 4-6세의 학령전 아동 152명으로 이 중 일반 아동은 128명, 임상군에 속하는 아동은 24명이었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 애착이야기 그림검사의 평정문항과 안정애착 표상, 불안정애착 간에는 일관된 관련성이 있었으며, 반응에서의 유의미한 남녀 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아동의 애착표상은 정서조절 및 문제행동과 유의미한 관련성을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 애착이야기 그림검사에서 일반 집단은 안정애착 표상에서, 임상집단은 불안정애착 표상을 측정하는 평정문항에 유의미하게 높은 반응 빈도를 보였다. 마지막으로, ROC 분석 결과, 양육자에 대한 긍정적 표상, 이야기 주제의 해결, 비조직화 주제 문항과 양육자에 대한 안정 표상 및불안정 애착 하위 구인은 애착 문제에 대해 적합한 수준의 판별 정확도를 보였으며, 일반집단과 임상집단을 변별해주는 절단점을 살펴본 결과 평정문항에서의 합산 점수가 양육자에 대한 안정 애착 표상에서 8점 보다 적을 때, 그리고 불안정 애착 표상 에서 3점보다 클 때 각각 애착 관련 문제가 있는 아동을 78.12%, 75.78%의 확률로 분류해 낼 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate a clinical utility of a Pictorial Attachment Story Test for preschool children. The subject of this were 152 children aged 4-6 in the general and clinical population. Th attachment representation was assessed using the pictorial attachment story test which composed of a set of ten pictures depicting attachment story stem and six coding scales. The correlation of attachment representation, motional regulation, behavior problem were analyzed. Also, to confirm clinical utility, ROC analysis was conducted. The results are as follows. Firstly, there were significant relation between the measure of the child emotional regulation and behavioral problems and attachment representation. Secondly, comparison of contrasted group suggested that this instrument can effectively discriminate general population with clinical population. Finally, according to the ROC analysis, it was suggested that this instrument was useful to discriminate between the general and clinical population regard to attachment problem. In summary, it was proven that this instrument was developmentally appropriate assessment tool to measure attachment representation of preschool children. Also, it showed encouraging psychometric properties. As a clinically relevant research tool, it could give a window onto child s own experience and expectation of caregiver s availability and responsiveness. As such, it could be applied in the evaluation of being considered for therapy or as a part of psychological tests.
