민속놀이를 활용한 오감체험활동이 유아의 배려행동과 확률적 사고에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 민속놀이를 활용한 오감체험활동이 유아의 배려행동과 확률적 사고에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 Y시에 소재한 H 유치원에 재원중인 만 5세 유아 54명(실험집단 27명, 통제집단 27명)을 연구 대상으로 선정하였다. 수집된 자료는 연구문제에 따라 SPSS/ PC(win 28.0) 프로그램을 사용 하여 집단 간 독립표본 t-검증으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 민속놀이를 활용한 오감활동은 유아의 배려행동에 효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사전 배려행동 점수 에서 통제집단과 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았던 실험집단이 민속놀이를 활용한 오감활동을 경험 한 후 통제집단보다 모든 하위 요인에서 유의미하게 높은 배려행동 점수를 보여주었다. 둘째, 확률적 사고는 통제집단과 실험집단 유아의 점수가 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 민속놀이를 활용한 오감체험활동은 사회성과 정서적 측면에서 분명한 효과와 장점이 있다. 이는 앞으로 인지적 측면의 발달을 함께 도모할 수 있는 오감체험활동에 대해 고민해보아야 함을 시사하는 것이 다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of the activities for five senses using folk games on the considerate behaviors and the probabilistic thinking of young children. The subjects of this study were 5-year-old 54 children attending H kindergarten located in Y - si. The treatment group was 27 people (16 males and 11 females) and the control group was 27 people (13 males and 14 females). Paired t-test was conducted to test the study questions between treatment group and control group. The results were as follows. First, the treatment group, experienced the activities for five senses by using folk games, showed significantly higher considerate behaviors than the control group, did not experience the activities for five senses. Second, the probabilistic thinking was not statistically different between the treatment group, experienced the activities for five senses by using folk games, and the control group, did not experience the activities for five senses. Consequently, the activities for five senses by using folk games had a clear effect and strength in the social and emotional aspects. The results imply that we need to carefully think about activities for five senses to improve cognitive aspect as well.
