유아교사의 건강에 대한 인식과 실태 및건강증진프로그램 요구 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 건강에 대한 인식과 실태 및 건강증진프로그램에 대한 요구를 분석하여 건강증진프로그램의 필요성과 구성방안을 모색하기 위함이다. 이를 위해 2017년 1월에 B시에 소재한 유아교육기관에 재직 중인 유아교사 270명을 대상 으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 2018년 8월 유아교사 6명을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하였다. 설문조사는 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계와 t-검증을 하고, 심층면담은 전사하여 개방코딩 후 심층코딩으로 내용을 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유치원교사가 어린이집교사에 비해 건강에 대한 인식 정도가 높았으며 유아교사들은 건강을 중요하게 여기고 있었다. 둘째, 유아교사들은 자아실현, 대인관계지지, 스트레스관리, 건강책임, 영양, 운동 순의 건강증진행위를 하고 있었으며 유치원교사는 어린이집교사보다 운동을 더욱 많이 하고 있었다. 셋째, 유아교사들은 건강증진프로 그램을 긍정적으로 인식하고 필요로 하고 있었다. 건강증진프로그램의 교육내용에 대해서는 스트레스에 대한 교육을 가장 높게 요구하고 있었으며, 강의 형태의 교수 방법, 주말, 2-3일, 2시간 이상의 프로그램을 요구하고 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 유아교사의 건강을 증진시키기 위한 프로그램이 필요함을 시사하며, 건강한 유아교사를 양성하기 위한 프로그램 구성을 위한 기초자료로 쓰일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out the necessity and composition of health promotion program by analyzing the perceptions and actual conditions of early childhood teachers and their needs for health promotion programs. To do this, we conducted a questionnaire survey of 270 early childhood teachers in early childhood education institutions in January 2017 and conducted in-depth interviews with 6 early childhood teachers in August 2018. The questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-test using the SPSS 21.0 program, and the in-depth interviews were transcribed and analyzed by in-depth coding after open coding. The results of this study are as follows. First, kindergarten teachers were more aware of health than daycare teachers and early childhood teachers regarded health as important. Second, early childhood teachers were promoting self-realization, support of interpersonal relationship, stress management, responsibility for health, nutrition, and exercise order, and kindergarten teachers were exercising more than daycare center teachers. Third, early childhood teachers recognized and needed health promotion program positively. The education contents of the health promotion program were most demanding for education on stress, and for lecture-type teaching methods, on weekends, 2-3 days, and more than two hours of programs. The results of this study suggest that a program to improve the health of early childhood teachers is needed and it is expected to be used as a basic data for the formation of a program to train healthy early childhood teachers.
