중도탈락 위기 학생선수 학부모들의 일상 경험 탐색: 고등학교 레슬링부에 관한 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 고등학교 레슬링부의 과도한 훈련 운영 시 중도탈락 위기 학생선수 학부모들이 일상에서 어떠한 갈등을 겪고 있으며, 그들이 어떠한 방안을 통해 일상에 변화가 있는지 심층적으로 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구 참여자는 대한고등학교 레슬링부에서 중도탈락 위기에 놓여 있는 2학년 학생선수 학부모 1명과 3학년 학생 선수 학부모 3명을 선정하였다. 자료는 2014년부터 2015년까지 학부모들의 일상 경험을 토대로 참여관찰, 심층면담, 문서자료를 통해 수집하였으며, 수집한 자료는 2016년 10월부터 2017년 8월까지 Patton(1991)이 제시한 귀납적 범주 분석 방법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 자료의 진실성을 확보하기 위해 연구 참여자 확인, 연구 전문가 검토, 다각도 검증을 시행하였다. 분석 결과, 대한고등학교 레슬링부의 중도탈락 위기 학생선수 학부모들은 과도한 훈련 운영 시 운동부 주체들과 갈등을 겪고 있었 으나, 갈등을 해결하는 방안을 모색하며 일상의 변화를 경험하고 있었다. 구체적으로 학부모들은 일상에서 운동 포기를 작심한 자식뿐만 아니라 자식 문제로 인한 다른 주체들과도 갈등을 겪고 있었다. 이러한 갈등을 겪는 학부모들은 자식들이 운동을 지속할 수 있도록 다른 주체들과의 운동과 공부병행 협의, 자식에 대한 기대치를 낮추는 노력 등의 방안을 내세웠다. 이를 통해 운동과 공부병행으로 변경한 중도탈락 위기 학생선수 학부모들은 일상에서 자식의 꿈을 함께 키워나가는 가정생활, 자식의 의욕적인 학교생활로 떳떳해진 직장생활, 부모와 자식 간의 믿음으로 여유가 생긴 사생활을 경험하고 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the conflicts in daily life are the parents of drop-out crisis student athlete due to policy of excessive training high school wrestling team and to investigate deeply how they change their daily life through what kind of ways. The data was collected through participating observation, in-depth interview, and document materials based on daily experience of parents from 2014 to 2015, and the collected data was analyzed using the inductive category analysis method by Patton(1991). To ensure the integrity of the data, the research participants were identified, the research experts reviewed, and the diversity verification was conducted. According to the analysis, parents of middle-of-school wrestlers at Daehan High School were experiencing daily changes in their search for ways to resolve the conflict, although they were having conflicts with the athletic body during excessive training operations. In particular, parents were in conflict with their children not only because they were determined to give up their sport in their daily lives, but also with other subjects due to their children s problems. Parents who have experienced these conflicts have made efforts to reduce the expectations for their children and to consult with other subjects about Study parallel and so on so that their children can continue their exercise. Through this, drop-out crisis student athlete parents who changed into a policy of exercise and study parallel have been experienced in daily that home life that growing dream together children, work life that honorably by highly motivated school life of children, and relaxed private life by trust between parents and children.
