국문 초록

이 연구는 국정 마지막 시기인 제7차와 개정 7차, 검인정의 시작인 2011 개정을 포함한 2015 개정 음악과 교육과정까지 최근 10년의 흐름을 알아보고 이 시기의 3․4학년 음악교과서를 비교 분석하고자 한다. <단원구성체제><제재별 구성 체제><영역별 학습활동><내용구성 특징>의 분석 기준을 가지고 분석한 결과 첫째, 수업의 효율성과 함께 학생의 흥미를 일깨울 수 있는 단원 체제 구성이 필요하다. 둘째, 교수․ 학습 자료의 제시가 학습활동 내용 과다로 연계되어서는 안 된다. 셋째, 교과서 학습 활동 제시는 단일한 학습 요소로 제시되어 내용 이해의 어려움이 없어야 한다. 넷째, 음악을 표현할 수 있는 수단으로서 악보의 중요성을 이해하고 다각도의 방법 모색이 필요하다 는 시사점을 도출하였다. 끝으로 스마트 교육에 발맞춰 새로운 교과서 구성 체제에 대한 다방면의 연구가 필요하고, 무조건적인 변화에 뛰어들기에 앞서 음악의 고유성을 다시금 되새길 수 있는 연구도 병행되어야 한다.

영문 초록

This study investigated school curriculums which have been revised four times for the past decade. Based on the results of analysis on 3rd and 4th grade textbooks, the discussions and implications of music textbooks are summarized as follows: First, units which can enhance class efficiency and make students more interested in courses should be developed. For this, textbooks should be field trip-oriented and easy-to-understand, not just being classified by unit in a standard manner. Second, the suggestion of teaching and learning materials should not be connected with excessive learning activities. It is desirable to propose diverse approaches, but such suggestion can often result in excessive curriculums. Furthermore, teachers’ perception should be improved in consideration of a necessity of textbook reconstruction. Third, textbook learning should be suggested as a single learning element, avoiding any confusion or difficulty in understanding courses. Fourth, it is needed to understand the importance of notes as a way to express music and search for methods from diverse perspectives. Based on the matters discussed in this study, the followings can be suggested for the growth and development of music textbooks for Korean elementary school students: First, with the onset of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, new changes and spread resulting from smart education and artificial intelligence are anticipated. Therefore, there should be studies on new textbook construction to properly respond to such changes. Second, there should be efforts to discover new teaching/learning methods and data considering diverse conditions and situations, not just suggestion of diverse learning activities. Third, there should also be further studies on the essence of music prior to just following such changes.
