초등학생 성격유형에 따른 원예 선호도에 관한 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 초등학생이 성격유형에 따라서 어떠한 원예활동과 원예식물을 선호하는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 2018년 9월 10일부터 14일까지 5일동안 전주에 소재한 초등학교 학생 294명을 대상으로 에니어그램 성격 검사와 원예 선호도 검사를 실시하였다. 에니어그램 성격 검사에서는 학생들의 성격을 9가지 유형으로 분류하였고, 원예 선호도 검사에서는 원예활동과 원예식물의 선호도를 복수응답으로 선택할 수 있도록 하였다. 설문조사 내용은 SPSS를 이용하여 교차분석을 실시하였 고, 초등학생의 성격유형과 원예식물의 선호도 관계를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 원예활동 선호도 조사에서 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8유형은 꾸미기 활동을 가장 선호하였고, 5, 7, 9유형은 가꾸기 활동을 가장 선호하였다. 반면, 학교정원과 수목원 등을 활용한 식물 감상하기는 공통적으로 낮은 선호도를 보였다. 둘째, 식물 가꾸기에서는 대부분 유형이 실내에서 화분을 가꾸는 것을 선호하였고, 식물 꾸미 기에서는 수경재배, 테라리움, 토피어리의 선호도가 높게 나타났다. 식물 감상하기에 서는 국립공원과 수목원, 공원의 선호도가 비슷하였는데, 학교정원의 선호도는 모든 유형에서 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 꽃의 색에서는 9유형을 제외한 모든 유형이 흰색을 선호하였고, 꽃의 향기에서는 모든 유형이 과일 향기를 가장 선호하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out what kinds of horticultural activities and horticultural plants are preferred by elementary school students according to personality type. For this purpose, 294 elementary school students in Jeon-ju for 5 days from September 10th to 14th, 2018 were subjected to enneagram personality test and horticulture preference test. In the enneagram personality test, students characteristics were classified into 9 types. In the horticulture preference test, horticultural activities and preferences of horticultural plants were selected as multiple responses. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed using SPSS, and the relationship between the personality type of the elementary school students and the preference of horticultural plants was analyzed. The main results of this study are as follows. First, in the horticultural activity survey, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 types preferred the decorating activities and 5, 7 and 9 types preferred the plant raising activities. On the other hand, observing plants using school garden and arboretum showed a low preference in common. Second, elementary school students preferred to plant plants in indoor pots, and preferred hydroponics, terrarium, and topiary in plant decorating. Third, preference of national parks, arboretums and parks were similar in viewing plants, and school preferences were lower in all types. Third, all types except for 9 were preferred to white in flower color, and all types preferred fruit flavor in flower scent.
