국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 예비 여교사들이 체육 교과서 동작도전 영역을 집필하면서 경험한 내용과 그것이 갖는 의미를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 A교육대학교 4학년 아동체조교육론 수강자 가운데 6명의 학생들을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 그들을 대상으로 참여관찰과 심층면담을 실시하고 문서자료 등을 수집하였다. 자료 분석의 방법은 Spradley(1979)가 제안한 영역분석과 분류분석을 활용하였다. 연구 결과, 연구 참여자들은 집필 초기에 좀처럼 맥을 짚지 못하는 텍스트 구성, 불충분한 내용교 수지식에 대한 계발 노력 미흡 등 교과서 집필의 기본역량이 부족함을 경험하였다. 본격적인 집필 시도 과정에서는 기존 교과서로부터 집필의 실마리를 찾고 교수학습 주요요소에 대한 관성적인 반영, 실천적 맥락 속에서 현장 이해와 개선하려는 노력과 학습자 배움 중심으로 교과서를 집필하겠다는 동력과 기대가 있었다. 교과서 집필을 통해서는 고민과 성취의 흔적을 담은 텍스트 생산, 체육과 교과용 도서와의 친밀감 형성, 체육수업에 대한 자신감과 실천의지 고취 등의 결실을 얻었다. 마지막으로 통합적, 다주체적 접근을 통한 체육교수에 대한 관심과 자신감 제고, 반성적 멘토 링을 통한 교육과정개발자로서의 교사 되어보기라는 체육 교과서 모의 집필 경험의 의미를 도출하였다.

영문 초록

The present study was aimed to explore the experiences and significance of mock-up writing on challenge activities for a physical education textbook by female elementary preservice teachers. To do so, participant observation and in-depth interview were conducted with 6 students selected to participate in the study. They were chosen from among those taking an advanced class on the theory of Teaching Gymnastics in Elementary School P. E., offered to senior students at A University of Education, and data available in the literature were collected. The data were analyzed using domain analysis and a classification method proposed by Spradley (1979). The study findings showed the following. In the beginning, the study participants experienced that their fundamental capacity for textbook writing was lacking, because they could not easily construct a structure of the text and felt they had insufficient Pedagogical Content Knowledge. In the process of trying to write in full force, they had determinations to find clues from existing textbooks and had expectation and ambition to apply the main elements of teaching and learning automatically, understand and improve in practical context and write a learning-oriented textbook. Through the textbook writing exercise, they obtained the fruits of producing texts that contained the traces of their hard work and achievement, establishing familiarity with physical education textbooks, gaining self-confidence in teaching physical education, and having a sense of goal achievement. Finally, based on an integrative, multi-agency approach the study revealed how significant the experience of the mock-up writing exercise of a physical education textbook had on the students, namely, increases in interest and confidence in teaching physical education and learning to become a teacher who can develop a curriculum through reflective mentoring.
