국문 초록

광주광역시 광산구 월곡동 고려인마을은 중앙아시아에서 이주한 고려인이 2000년 초부터 정착하였다. 고려인 이주로 기존 자영업 상권이 분화되고 가족기업이 늘어나 업종의 변경, 간판의 다중언어 병기 등의 생태변화를 겪게 되었다. 본 연구는 월곡동 고려인마을의 자영업자의 특성과 고려인 자영업자의 사회적 네트워크의 유형에 대해 알아보았다. 사회적 네트워크를 통해 본 고려인 자영업자의 세 가지 특성은 가족기업의 형태이고, 동족집단 교류의 장으로 제공되며, 자영업자 간의 협력은 미약한 것으로 나타났다. 고려인 자영업자의 사회적 네트워크 유형은 강한 유대의 결속형 네트워크, 약한 유대의 교량형네트워크, 느슨한 유대의 연결형 네트워크로 파악된다. 연구 결과 고려인마을의 고려인 자영업자의 사회적 네트워크는 결속형에서 확장되어서 교량형 네트워크로 나아가고 있고, 자영업자 간의 상호협력이미약하지만 지역사회와 협력에는 긍정적인 것으로 나타나 협력이 사업에 긍정적인 효과를 가져 온다는 인식의 필요성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Goryeoin Village in Wolgok-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City has been settled since the early 2000s by Goryeoin immigrants from Central Asia. Due to the migration of Goryeoin, existing self-employment commercial districts were differentiated and family businesses increased, leading to ecological changes such as changes in business types and multilingual use of signboards. This study investigated the characteristics of the self-employed in Wolgok-dong Koryoin Village and the types of social networks of the Koryoin self-employed. The three characteristics of self-employed Koryoin found through social networks are that they are a family business, that they are provided as a place for exchanges between ethnic groups, and that cooperation between self-employed people is weak. The types of social networks of Koryoin self-employed are identified as strong ties, bridge networks, and loose ties. As a result of the study, the social network of Goryeoin self-employed in Koryoin Village has expanded from a solidarity type to a bridge-type network, and although mutual cooperation between self-employed is weak, it is found to be positive in cooperation with the local community, recognizing that cooperation has a positive effect on the business suggests the need for awareness.
