국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 삶의 의미와 진로에 관한 국내 연구동향을 체계적으로 분석함으로써 삶의 의미를 활용한 진로개입에 대한 시사점과 향후 연구의 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 방법 이를 위해 1995년부터 2021년까지 국내에서 발표된 연구 중 ‘삶, 의미, 목적’과 ‘진로’의 핵심어를 포함하는 삶의 의미와 진로에 관한 총 80편의 논문을 선정하고 발표시기, 발표지, 연구대상, 연구방법, 연구주제, 연구내용, 사회인지진로이론에 따른 진로변인 특성에 대한 분석을 통합적 문헌연구방법으로 실시하였다. 결과 연구결과, 첫째, 삶의 의미와 진로에 관한 연구들은 1995년 첫 연구 이후 2010년까지는 간헐적이었으나 2011년부터는 그 수가 증가하면서 매년 꾸준히 이루어졌다. 둘째, 연구대상은 다양한 데 반해 주로 20세부터 60세까지의 성인, 대학생, 중등생 연구가 많았고, 노년과 초등 대상 연구는 매우 미흡하였다. 연구방법으로는 조사연구, 패널조사연구, 개발연구를 포함하는 양적연구에 이어 질적연구, 혼합연구, 문헌연구가 활용된 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 삶의 의미와 진로 관련 연구의 주제로는 진로발달 과정, 진로상담 및 프로그램, 진로선택, 진로스트레스 및 대처에 대한 관심이 상대적으로 높았으며, 삶의 의미와 관련된 진로변인의 특성을 사회인지진로이론의 주요범주에 따라 분석해 본 결과, 개인의 능력과 상태를 나타내는 개인변인에 대한 연구가 상대적으로 많이 이루어진 것으로 확인되었다. 결론 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점과 후속 연구의 방향을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to systematically review domestic research trends on the meaning in life and career in Korea. In addition, it is to present implications for career intervention using meaning in life and the direction of future research. Methods To this end, a total of 80 papers on the meaning in life and career published in Korea from 1995 to 2021 were selected. Subsequently, analysis was conducted on the research period, presentation journals, research subjects, research methods, research topics, and career variable characteristics. Results As a result of the study, first, studies on the meaning of life and career path were intermittent from the first study in 1995 until 2010, but since 2011, the number has increased and has been steadily conducted every year. Second, while the subjects of the study were diverse, there were many studies on adults, college students, and middle school students from the age of 20 to 60, and studies on old age and elementary school subjects were very insufficient. As for the research method, qualitative research, mixed research, and literature research were used following quantitative research including survey research, panel research, and development research. Third, interest in career development process, career counseling and program, career choice, career stress, and coping was relatively high as a subject of life meaning, and as a result of analyzing the characteristics of career variables according to major categories of social cognitive theory, many studies were conducted. Conclusions Based on the results, the direction of follow-up research was suggested.
